I feel the lead dynamic will be explored deeper in the upcoming episodes....n I don't think it's even a love triangle which is very much evident from the lunch table scene,the fl doesn't even want to address him informally does maintaining her distance,she even proudly tells him that her bf is calling him when her phone was ringing...she is just being respectful keeping in mind the help he provided her...what I love about newtopia so far is that many things are nuance, body language and expressions are self explanatory and they don't say out loud word by word what they are thinking which many recent Netflix drama does nowadays 😬 it can be super annoying 😂

I have watched it two times and watching the two episodes frame by frame I must say the production quality is top notch and the direction is so good....it's a movie quality direction with various unconventional camera angles probably because the director has directed movies...the screenplay is so good n doesn't drag...most of the rooftop scenes look cgi but seeing the perfect shadows of the people and object I can say it's mostly without cgi which shows how well the production and direction is.

Jisoo hate comment despite how ridiculous getting so much likes proves that there is a pack of haters lurking in here😁😁 haters are really making me stan her and be protective about an idol/ actress that I had no idea about just a few weeks back😁

I didn't like squid game season 2 and thought that the season 1 was overhyped all because it's a Netflix show but I didn't camp in their comment section and shit about the show.. constructive criticism and plain hate is two different thing ... The director of this series has stated several times that newtopia is a new genre in zombie drama yet people are expecting all of us are dead kinda show is weird....all of us are dead is heavy on the emotional side and mostly cater to younger audiences where almost every scene is well explain but it's not the same case in newtopia

I haven't seen him being bad at everything though...he is street smart though, finding various ways to connect with his gf, he is simply a common man who doesn't give much thought about his duty as a soldier yet.... probably he will get serious with the episodes ..

Comedy is subjective and it has several genre so you not connecting with this type of comedy is totally understandable but if you mock others for liking satire,dark comedy genre of comedy then you are nothing more than a comedy 😁
