I watched first 2 episodes. So far I’m enjoying it. I’m glad it showed Mirae’s life or lack of it. Her work life is too relatable. I would not criticize Jisoo, her character is blank for a reason, so viewers can self insert. Her reactions are quite relatable, I mean look at Lee Soohyuk. Honestly I don’t understand criticism, series just premiered how yall already finished it?! It’s probably cause yall too boy crazy boy moms who can’t stand anyone female other than yourself.

I can see why some people may not warm up to the FL initially but I think the writers depicted her with care,…
You mean directors? Screenwriters Nakazono Miho, Aizawa Tomoko are both women.

Funny you should say that as everyone thinks the dad is the best of the two parents.
Nahh he enables both grandmother and mother’s weird behaviors even though he has the most power out of them!

Title Shine on Me
Watching Shine on Me honestly annoyed me because it glamorizes wealth like rich people are automatically better,…
Comments below saying no one is poor. Zhuang Xu says we are from different worlds when they talk about hypotheticals, also his hometown girlfriend says Xiguang perfect starting bench for ZhuangXu and her other roommate agrees with her. It’s all about class difference discussions. Are you watching this blindfolded and ears plugged?!

Lol,so rich people don't deserve love??? it's just a story why are you acting as if it's a reality show😂😂😂
No, I mean only weird people here are poor people who are insecure, which is weird depiction! Why writer is so prejudiced towards poor people? It’s not first I have seen this depiction by this writer. I’m calling out bias by Guman! You can’t comprehend not my fault!

Title Shine on Me
Watching Shine on Me honestly annoyed me because it glamorizes wealth like rich people are automatically better, beautiful, confident, successful, and “born right.” Their problems still look aesthetic and easy. FL and ML suffering is still much much easier because of their wealth.
Meanwhile poor characters are written like poverty equals insecurity and inferiority, like being poor is something shameful. Why every poor character is insecure weirdo in this drama?!
I have seen similiar depictions in other Gu Man dramas. To me she is a classist propagandist.

People complaining about no romance at episode 3, please go play dating simulations cause not every media has to feed your fantasy.
On Love Like the Galaxy: Part 1 Jan 24, 2026
FL’s parents are neglectful and cruel people. I am glad her mom is getting appropriate bashing, but her dad should get even more bashing. He is the one have the most power in his own household but would not even budge save his daughter from scrawny hands of HIS own relatives. He didn’t do enough to maintain normal relationship from the beginning. Lets his controlling mother prevented relationship between daughter and mother but he is the own enabled that.

Muhee’s parents suck, and her relatives sucks even more. They could have showed her some love, but no they deliberately decided to be monsters to her. Ofc she developed DID, it’s miracle she didn’t kill them. What’s the point of them being resentful to her? She was just a child, she basically saved her parents life. But she is twisted for that?
On Can This Love Be Translated? Jan 18, 2026
Hojun and Muhee’s parents are crazy one here. What the hell?! Why all of them claiming it’s their kids fault and abandoning them?! It’s good thing for Hojun there was author Kim and his grandfather. Both of their parents inconsiderate and uncaring. Muhee poor thing had no one, she could be honest with no one other than Hojun. Ugh these selfish parents are real burdens.

ive watched 3 eps so far but i'm a little confused. how can the doctors tell the FL that they can't help her with…
I remember Jonghyun from Shinee got told he can’t cure his depression he himself wrong. So maybe South Korean doctor are like that.

Honestly most fun drama I watched in a while. Cinematography in Japan, Canada and Italy was gorgeous and mesmerizing. Budget spent well. And the leads did their best with the script. Their charisma honestly carried this drama. Script is a bit of mess, but thanks to actor’s performance it was fun.

I need a break after 3 episodes. I am not convinced at all that ML loves his one sided crush. He using her as an excuse to not be in his own life. He lives in inaction. If I was Muhee and he showed in my life suddenly to just delete a photo on ig. I totally interpret him as Muhee did. Suddenly woman he did even care to confess would care about Muhee’s post. I do not think so. Ehh Idk what am I rambling about. What Muhee’s mom did to cause that huge of an accident?
On Can This Love Be Translated? Jan 16, 2026
Muhee’s personality is so honest and sincere. Interpreter is such a coward. He could say about his feelings to Muhee but could not to shin pd?! That means it’s not real. Ugh! He is prick and she is sweety.
