Footloosezombie , I fell the same the scenes are the cut and what the showing us make feel disconnected too. The scene when Su Su dies He collects her body and brings her corpse to Chengqian Hall, where he puts her on his bed, keeping her decayed corpse for 1 month. Everyday he will go to the room and try to make her happy, alas she is dead. YBC is locked in a cave with snakes, TTJ tortures her with them. She ends up dying in less than 2 full years. When He went to the Ghost river to search for YXWs soul, his body has being torn by the Ghosts demons. He spent 500 years there. When he managed to come out of the river, he was found by the sect leader of Xiaoyao sect in a in a hideous condition - bones were poking here and there, wounds, flesh, blood all mixed. In the novel he didn’t find the jade for healing, His body was is so pitiful state, he was so close to death, it was excruciating pain for him .So without those scenes we don’t connect with all pain and despair he felt after his death and when he was trying to find his soul.
Also changing GYJWs character is wrong.

I read many chapters of the leaked script and basically nothing changes,not heal and forgiving arc, only the repetition of what happened in the tower, they meet 500 years later, he becames evil god anyway, Bitchang come back as devil, TTJ kidnap Su Su and want to marry her in the demon realm ,she tries to kill him againg the day of their third wedding in the demon realm .He dies that day , 500 other hundred years pass and at the 5 minutes of the ending Su Su was with her daughter and saw him in withe robe . The end . So I told to my self is really worthy to continue the series if is the repetition of the repetition....😭😭😭

@Emmaline Zhang but someone who reads the leaked script says that she reincarnated in a new loving and caring person trying to paid for her sins.
Others are saying that when the scholar went to see her in the cell to give the letter of Xiao Lin he waited until she reads the letter and dies to collect her tear for her reincarnation.
But I not agree with this comment , for me is not for that that he takes the tear , the tear and the blood of TTJ is for the reincarnation of Xiao Lin who becames Gong Ye Ji Wu.
