Definition of an "idol" in english dictionary: A person or thing that is greatly admired, loved, or…
Kamenashi Kazuya, Arashi, Yamada Ryosuke, Nagase Tomoya are idols, Maeda Atsuko is idol too, but Kento isn't. He even doesn't sing :0

WTF?!?!?!!!
Koe koi is family drama??? Yamaneko is comedy???? Kiritani Mirei and Yamazaki Kento are the best actors of this year? Yamazaki Kento is IDOL?????
I like Yamazaki Kento, but Suki no hito is the worst drama of 2016. I didn't write my variants, but I'm confused now.

I like Shinohara Ryoko in Mukodono!
Sooo I agree with your actor's list (but I'd give Amuse's actors on first places~).
I know tha't different kinds of taste - I mean actresses - Nakatani Miki and Ueno Juri are my favorites.
Thank you for your article!

Thank you for your amazing article! You make my heart doki-doki one more time <3
I found Kamiki only in the beginning of 2015 as Soujiro, but I was fallen in love after Tantei Gakuen Q and it got like an addiction.
p.s.: now in russian jdrama community I'm making my top of his roles, oh, it's so difficult haha

Great article, IwahashiGirl. 49 Days was my gateway Asian drama, and I pretty much watched only Korean dramas…
I can't agree with you about drama\movie adaptation. I said as anime fan which I was in the past, a director has own view on original story and try to create it. But not all of them could do it enough good, it doesn't mean that all adaptations are bad or something else.
I met really good adaptation - Kuragehime, AnoHana, Kiseijuu, RuroKen, and I adore Light by Kubota Masataka from last Death note drama, although I know manga/anime stories.

I agree with you completely!
There are really strange stupid reasons not to start to watch jdrama. Almost all proved that it just depends on a viewer's taste.
I don't like kdrama for example they are so long and become boring after 8 epizode. But it's my opinion, sometimes I try to watch kdrama too.
About romance... haha, Japan makes shoujo manga a lot and turn it into many movies which are very similar (so I like shoujo but...). Japanese romance aren't all bright and funny, most of them could be sad and even terribly dark.
About idol's acting... Arashi is the greatest example idols can act stunningly! Sakurai Sho in Blackboard and Kazoku game, Ninomiya Kazunari in Door to door! They aren't worse than simple good actors.

Title Gintama
Where did you find any information about Yamada Ryosuke and Kamiki Ryunosuke's actings? I haven't seen official words about that!
