Thanks Ness for taking time to reply! I kinda got the feeling about lack of such fight scenes from her. I held this off. Just started love and redemption ;-)
1. When does she regain Phoenix blood? 2. Will there be more action scenes like the one when she competes for sword dance? I sort of like these kind of episodes where they show her strength and capabilities. I read a lot of comments about dissatisfaction for ending. Forgetting that, will there be interesting episodes like the above mentioned one ?
I think so too! I watched couple of eps in S2 and halted it to watch S1 first. I am at the end of S1 now and it…
Here is shorter version. Note that I didn't include all parts but just as gist.
S1: male lead (prince) is predestined to die at age 25 and female lead travels back in time and into body of the person who the male lead gets married to. Eventually they fall in love and both leads made a life contract so if one dies other will go. At age 25, when he is supposed to die, they show that instead of dying they go to another fantasy continent and realize that they are originally from this land and they both just incarnated again. In last few episodes, they fight an evil emperor. Only female lead can slay this emperor so they fight together and will be shown as separated from each other with time and space. Also the female lead realizes that this all happened as a dream (in modern world when she slept) .
Like you said S2 starts off as male lead travelling to modern world in future. So this is before when female lead entered the historical period in S1. However, as the first couple of episodes progress, the female lead goes back to historic period like she is supposed to go..same as S1 but this time male lead follows her too. This means we are now watching how the S1 incidents change when male lead came back from future and coexist with his own self. I know its little confusing but it made sense to me when I watched S1 first :)

Interestingly, I didn't find this annoying. That might be because I wanted to watch historical/martial arts/fantasy and I was not so invested in it. I am not a fan of any actors either. I didn't skip much but managed to watch it all the way. There were moments of dragging but the annoying parts were bearable. The female lead is not a drama queen so that's a plus for me.
