I somehow like this drama. I will give it 8.5 stars!

This drama have five group of family.

Kong Yi Jae (Female Lead)
- Father: Gong Jil Dong
- Mother: Book Soon Yie
- G'ma: Choi Kang Ju
- Aunt: Kong Eul Sook

Yoon Ho (Male Lead)
- Dad: Prof Han
- Mom: Eun Young Ae (A smart students in high school and friend to Se Ra's mom, Mi Ran)

Kang Sa Re (SFL)
- Father: Kang Pong Ho
- Mom:- Yoo Mi Ran (a "slave" to Doo Jin's mom)

Ma Doo Jin (SML or ML)
- Father: Ma Dong Sik (TSK owner)

Done with NIF1 and now watching NIF2. A story that happened 40 yrs later. While watching I keep looking if some characters (with the same face) from NIF1 will appear but so far none.

I think the drama is more "clean". I dont like the book because its happened in around 1940? Mo Xi is not a virgin and CWD is roudy guy.

In the book Mo Xi has Wjia child. CWD dead. FY and WJia has a daughter. Mo Xi gave her child to WJia.

Me too. I wish we can have 2 more episodes where at the end Wu Yin visit Mo Xi and CWD. Moxi has two kids and due to all CWD help, Emperor grants CWD a gavernor post in a small city. :-)

I love the NIF1. Still watching and at episode 43. Very good script! I love heavy political drama like this. I dont like The Rise of Phoenixes and The Wind Blows From Longxi <--- super boring!
