For me the music didn't make that much sense to be honest. I would have loved it more to hear their breathing…
It's creepy and sinister... I didn't like it at first, kind of gave a very chilling, spooky feeling... But now, I kinda get it... Like the scene kind of makes me feel like it doesn't want the audience to insert themselves into VP's intimacy. Like it wants us to stay a little further away, from their first time, like their first time belongs only to them and no one else, not even us... Like you can watch them, but you are not allowed to feel them or touch them intimately. Vegas and Pete are only each others!!! And the music also portrays the tension in the room... the fragile trust between them, their precarious situations, and how vulnerable they both are... how brittle this 'relationship' they are currently in...

Yeah Vegas so far has been able to manipulate Porsche, Tawan, Ken and even Kinn a little bit. But he is finding out he will never be able to manipulate our Petey baby... Pete's just made different.
On another note, Vegas thinks and boasts that he can manipulate anyone and everyone. Because he thinks he knows everyone's darkest desires and weaknesses.
But the irony is (at least to me) that he failed completely on his first and so far only true psychological manipulation of Pete. He wanted to manipulate Pete to escape, wanted to make it seem like the perfect moment for Pete to abandon him and run far, far away from him and their safe house... But, Pete didn't take that bait, sure he thought about it, and was manipulated for a moment to run away, and give in to his wishes for freedom, but in the end, Pete didn't do what Vegas intended for him to do, surprising Vegas and his cynical notions once again...

Pete is too good and kind of a man to manipulate a broken human like Vegas... He empathizes with Vegas, likes him even, he feels sad for Vegas' misery, enjoys when Vegas is happy, trusts him to tie him up again when he is so vulnerable, in a naked position. Pete is falling in love too... with every every nook and corner of Vegas, the monster, the broken son, the brutal mafia, the shattered soul, the protective brother, the generous lover.. Pete is starting to love them all, unknowingly now, but definitely for sure he falling in love
