May I ask which lines and to whom they belonged in the novel?
The stuff Vegas tells Porsche by the pool the "if I die by Kinn blah blah blah ....", that's actually in the novel he says that to Pete in one of the best, most beautiful raw confessions of love, during a volatile showdown with guns and raining bullets. It's just spectacular in the novel, but they used it in the series for absolute no reason for Vegas to say it to Porsche...
It's still unthinkable to me that BoC actually copied lines out of a real dialogue in the novel, with no context whatsoever and used it completely uselessly on another character for zero purpose...

I hope sooo tooooo... But my once unshakeable faith is slowing eroding away... I just don't want Pete to be a second choice, just a rebound. He deserves so much better.
I sure think the sex scene Bible talked about must be a hell of an Earth shaker; because after waxing poetic to Porsche and simping after him for 9 episodes, Vegas seems he is in pretty deep for him.

It's not even following the novel!! I'm fine with having original ideas, it's basically taking a conversation out of context and using it on a totally different character changing it's total importance and meaning!!! And the worst part is, I think they are going to change most of Vegas Pete's novelty or attractive words and actions in the series... I really, really don't wanna complain, but I'm just so disappointed

Agree with everything you wrote, but it's just downright insane to word for word use the best lines of Vegas Pete to further Vegas Porsche ghost ship agenda... I believe in VegasPete!!! I just don't trust BoC to do them justice
