My question with tropes like these...if the so-called "rich-guy" is so rich and arrogant who thinks he's above…
Well the point is he thinks he is above "everyone". So he does need to consider this "everyone" who are beneath him to be superior in some way. He needs to make them know and feel that they are beneath him for this dynamic to be maintained. And to do that he needs to be on a power trip on the people he thinks are justifiably below his level.
Like seriously, this rating thing is a complete scam. Also considering it has been only 1 episode. Makes no sense.
(And just an example of how shady this rating thing here is: A few days ago I went to look and check out the drama King the Land and it was rated 7.6. Then just literally the next day, in 24 hours, I went to look at the rating and it had jumped to 8.4 although the number of people rating it hadn't changed!! Like how does this happen?! )
I swear MDL rating's the funniest thing on this site! I don't even know why they have it when they don't remotely match the actual quality of the show!!
Kanghan (threatening, menacing): Do you want to be a hero? Sailom (smirking nonchalantly): Care to be my heroine?!!!!
(I am dead LOL. Sailom really asked if his bully is ready to be with his man!! Kanghan and me both speechless🤣. Sailom is the level of feisty and sassy I aspire to be!! Damn boyyyyy)
Same feeling for A Boss and a Babe. And I'm gonna get bashed too(!) but really Force has the perfect facial non-expression…
Agree 100%. I am honestly just gonna be into probably only Boston and Nick. They are both good actors and surprisingly, to me the pairing works really well.
I'm going to get bashed by my comment ... but for me this is a no-go. The Eclipse-series was great, but putting…
Same feeling for A Boss and a Babe. And I'm gonna get bashed too(!) but really Force has the perfect facial non-expression as you said, like a marble statue. I'm watching this for Neo and Mark, although I do like First and Khaotung's camaraderie (I really wouldn't say they have bomb chemistry, but they give the feeling more of buddies who are like close friends, I dunno)...
All the pairings are cool, but the one I'm dying for is Boston and Nick. They're gonna give me (hopefully) delicious heartbreak, angst, misunderstandings, jealousy and oh! so pent up hot make-outs!! I am stoked for these two, cause for sure their story totally hints that Boston will sleep around with Nick, Nick will catch feelings and Boston absolutely will NOT. Nick's heart will be broken completely in the fall-out, and maybe (just maybe) he will try to move on with someone else (looking at you Papang *wink wink) and that's when Boston will realize how stupid he was to let Nick go!! Ensues rabid jealousy and the second phase of heartbreak. This is gonna be good! (And this is pure speculation so no spoiler tag!)
Yo! Where did the chemistry between LJH and IYA disappear?!! Why did it feel so forced (more so toward the end)??? Cliches can be good too (great even) if executed well, but this was just plain BORING!
100% Agree, the way Ryang Eum looks at him is literally like someone in love. Honestly, I would love to see a SML who is love with the ML instead of the FL! I just hope they don't portray Ryang Eum like a psychotic gay man and promote homophobia.
Why does this series remind me of Gone with the Wind?!! Like Lady Gil Chae is Scarlett O'Hara, Jang Hyun is Rhett Butler, Eun Ae is Melanie Hamilton and Yeon Jun is Ashley Wilkes. In the backdrop of civil war. Scarlett like Lady Gil Chae is a headstrong heartbreaker desperately in love with Ashley or our Yun Joon, who in turn loves (and eventually marries) Melanie/ Eun Ae who is one of Scarlett's closest friends. And Rhett, who is mysterious and pursues Scarlett, helps her out always in times of dire need.
