This show is cute but tortureously slow (I'm aware tortureously isn't a word - so don't come for me). The eps are so short and they barely move the plot along - hell, is there a plot? But I love these two so I keep watching

While I get your anger, you have too look pass that. As someone who tried killing herself twice, let me try and explain it to you. Depression is an illness. And especially when you're cultures that don't believe mental illness is a thing (like some countries in Asia and Jamaica) dealing with that alone is crippling. Think about it - You're sad all the time, nothing makes you happy, and because you're mentally fighting that sadness, you get exhausted physically, emotionally, mentally. Then add to that the entire world sitting on your shoulders, social media, the people in your life telling you "there's nothing wrong with you" so now you feel like you're losing your mind. Every morning it feels like the world is putting more nd more weight on top of all the crap you're already carrying and it takes everything in you to even lift your head off the pillow in the morning. And remember, you're dealing with this alone because you can't exactly talk to anyone about it, so it festers like an open wound that hasn't been cleaned and taken care of.

And this is your everyday - you're just there, all this building and building until one day, you're just done.

I was super lucky. I have people from other cultures who noticed something was wrong with me. My best friend, I love her hard, flew half way across our country to come be with me and made sure I was okay. So, instead of being angry, remember, someone killing themselves or trying to kill themselves isn't about you. Thinking any of that is about you makes you the selfish one. This is about someone who is in pain, who has no words to explain where it hurts.
