The writers are people who matter. Without them there wouldn't be any KinnPorsche. I think if they feel as if they were ripped off and betrayed, that's valid. And let's face it, we won' t ever know what the real story is. And unless the writers come out and say "we're back in" Filmania making kinnporsche at this point is hella disrespectful

That's my worry as well. If they make it now I couldn't in good conscience watch this...and that actually hurts because this drama had the potential to blowing this entire genre up in a good way

I'm not so sure now. I was doing some digging and it seems, from the translations etc that filmania either tried to rip the writer(s) off or was turning the book into something the writer(s) didn't agree with. Whatever is happening is big because the author(s) are basically left with a bad taste in their mouths right now. If they DO make it, it will be without the writer(s) blessings and I don't know if I could stand behind that. I'm a writer too and having someone screw up your work or use it without your blessings hurt

at least we have the heads up that something might be wrong. My Ride and Motorcycle the series just kinda vanished with no explanation.

Im trying to be positive, but i know how copyrights work. if the author walked away something is up. As an author myself I would not walk away from a studio and leave them with the rights to my work. So....there's that.

This isn't a good sign, you're right. And why was there no a contract with the author? Usually when a studio option a book for a movie or a series they have a contract to guard against this kind of thing. Something must have gone wrong, or Filmania must either be in trouble or is another Motiva Village, but I was REALLY looking forward to this one...I HATE how the Thai industry work. They don't make the drama before releasing a trailer now we're all hyped and they couldn't even get their shit together

So, I just saw that apparently the author for this has left filmania and they dont know the status on this. I really hope this is someone just being a dick and spreading rumors but if this is the case someone needs to be fired. You don't option a book to be made into a drama, release a KICK-ASS trailer, get everyone hyped and NOT have a contract with the author. This is not how we do this!

I just watched the first episode and I quite liked it. For those complaining about product placement HOW DO YOU THINK THEY PAID FOR EVERYTHING SO YOU CAN GET THE DRAMA FOR FREE? Making this cost money. They can't pay for things and pay their actors and crew if they have no money. Product placement makes it possible for them to pay people for their work. So stop this. If you don't like the series, you don't like it and that's fine. We aren't going to like ever series out there. But stop using product placement as a reason.
