8.7/10 I really liked this show. (was not a fan of the ending except the cameo) It did feel like 2 shows in one though. I like both the fansasy and cop aspects but damn the Montree thing got overwhelming at a point. The acting is great. Especially Billy. Babe's crying is amazing. I loved all the main cast's chemistry. CGI is some of the best I've seen in a BL. I really liked the mythology and honestly wished they'd done more with that but I get that CGi is expensive. Also the old ladies in black wigs was hilarious because you could still see their grey . Also SURPRISE SAINT WAS INSANE!! Is he that expensive? Wish his character could have played a bigger role. Saint and Billy really do look like siblings.

Oh wow. Apparently I'm one of the few who apparently liked this show. Minato's aversion to commitment made sense. Shizuma understood him in a way no one had done. Ex girlfriend helped but she really doesn't need to be part of the friend group 😑 might rewatch in a few months

100% agree. I love Kodai but Kan needs someone who can match his kissing too. I love this couple!! They are my second favourite BL couple but I need Kan Hideyoshi to star in another BL with someone else.

The reception to this show has truly shown that BL fans have been craving innocent love. After all the NC scene bombardment we've been getting, this show has been refreshing despite the cliché plot beats!! Innocent love, friendship and no TRAUMA Olympics!!!

I think the OG series was meant to look fluffy and heavenly hence the filters. Japan hardly whitewashes talents for no reason

Tokusatsu to BL pipeline continues!!!! 3 Kamen Riders in one production!! Main character being My overlord Zi:O!!! And Geiz being being in this is really funny to me.

I'm not the same person I was 10 years ago. And neither are the people I knew 10 years ago. Asking people to take accountability is great, but people change alot in 5 years let alone 10. We mature, our mindsets change. Also it's funny how netizens are like this but brush off international fans whenever there's an incorrect/disrespectful international cultural depiction in kdrama.

What an amazing time this show was!!! Two perfect J-BLs to end the year!! The kisses could have been better but I honestly enjoyed their chemistry without them. One of the most unique bls this year. I really like the supernatural era that the BL industry is in right now.

It's not a masterpiece by any means but I liked it for what it is!! It's like a student passion project (positive) with a Netflix foreign film budget!! People are complaining about the dancing while I wish they'd showed more of the competitions. The English dialogue was a bit cringy!! Hopefully we get a sequel with more romance and better dialogue. The main leads have sensual chemistry that needs to be explored. Also I'm glad a girl wasn't an obstacle. I'm also glad Takeuchi-san did this project. I've been a fan since Kamen Rider Drive. Past me would never have seen this coming 😭😭

I feel like he's like that with other things tbh. He's just intense but with good intentions. He strikes me as a person who'd learn you like pokemon and get you all the rare cards while spending an exorbitant amount of money.

Ok, so I rewatched it again hoping to change my mind lol. NOPE!!!! Started out strong but ended messy and tired. The plot lost itself. The villains were lackluster . The conflict stopped making sense and the characters sometimes felt like they were written by writers who've never met each other. Especially in the last 3 episodes

Yeah he kept comparing them and now OGami is jealous of himself without realizing lol. The story is very unique. I was honestly not expecting to like it this much. It also made me realize how much Kano energy I have. I have 'stay away' energy a lot. So I need to be like Kano and fix myself

I gave up on waiting and now I'm suffering while waiting for the finale. I was sceptical about the premise but it was well executed. Now I'm hoping for a 2nd season

The reason why this has such a high rating, is because it's such a breath of fresh air!! The love is innocent and cute. It's not as intense and traumatic as a lot of shows. Most of us were watching trauma shows during the week then watching this show for comfort. It's not groundbreaking but it's a hug come to life 🙅🏽‍♀️

Not bad honestly. There are somethings that they could improved!! This might sound weird but I'm glad he didn't magically get his sight back. The assault was a hard watch despite the censorship. Needed better closure and consequences for That Piece of Shit Fang!!!

This show and "Love begins in the world of if" are some of my favorite BLs this year and Top 5 ever. JBLs capture first love very well. I like ero-kisses as much as the next person but I resonate more with innocent love. I want a season 2 but with Watarai's friend group finding their own partners 💜 Hideyoshi Kan (Watarai) will forever be my G.o.a.t!! My 2nd favorite Kamen Rider 🧡
