The way he guilt trips her is honestly disgusting. She clearly hates his advances on her. The fact that we will…
Ikr!! I’m happy that she stands up for herself sometimes. I don’t mind age gaps but the fact that he is 44 years old and the female lead is 24 is a bit disturbing.
I really hate it when Han Sen uses the ‘’ I saved your life’’ excuse just to get Quiao Man feeling guilty. Alright he saved her, we get it but that doesn’t mean that he owns her or tgat she ‘s bound to him for life! I also get that he was there for her but that doesn’t mean that he can treat her like a posession and tell her what she can or can’t do! Can he just be be proud that he helped someone and let the girl live her damn life however she wants?!!
I began watching this drama just because I found the poster so pretty. Hahaha.I wish the editing and the songs…
I agree the second male lead gets on my nerves too! (I literally gave up on him and now I’m just skiping scenes were he’s in) And I wish that the ending would have been happy!
In deep heart we all know that Hye young is the right guy for JoJo.. but... Still rooting for sun ho and jojo...
At face value, okay, she should choose HYE but when you lift the layers, it's still Sun oh. They actually had a real relationship and genuine feelings beyond physical attraction. They connected and exposed their vulnerabilities to each other.
He's not perfect and no, he shouldn't have gone for his brother's/bff's crush. He has a messed up family with tons of personal insecurities and issues. But he really did love her..and has continued to do so, despite her harsh treatment.
On the surface, Jojo and Sun oh seem different - two worlds apart - but at their core, free of material toppings like fame, wealth, etc., they're more alike - selfish, vulnerable, imperfect.
I don't see how HYE's feelings can be that strong when he loved her from a distance. He never really knew her - it was extreme infatuation and if he weren't portrayed as kind, sweet and gentle, he'd be stalker material, lol. He may seem to be worse off than Sun oh but he's actually more blessed. He has a loving mum, and he is grounded with a strong sense of self. He deserves someone who will love him back, and it would also be sad if they lose their brotherhood because of a girl.
Jojo's seeming "feelings" for HYE seem based on loneliness, need and his words of devotion. Whereas when she fell for Sun ho, her world was actually fine (despite the broken past) and yet, she chose him time and again..until her fear of loss overwhelmed her.
I hope in the end HYE realises it was just extreme infatuation and that he finds reciprocity with his real match. Hope Sun ho's new gf realises she deserves love without having to beg. I hope Sun ho finally realises that Jojo never stopped loving him, and that it was a tech lock. And finally, that Jojo bravely faces her feelings for Sun ho, and not go with the "safer" option. She's been steadfast in other aspects of her life - It would be nice to see her maturely own her truth.
To do this, her character needs to own up about the lock. She needs to move out of her aunt's! She should gain independence as part of her move towards being more genuine and empowered. Her cousin needs to grow up, eat some humble pie and learn to be responsible. Maybe she and her mum can find healing and become more decent human beings together! I hope the developer has stopped being obsessed with this selfish, self-absorbed girl. Lol.
To please us all and make it more engaging, I hope they create two alternative endings and make us guess which one is real
I read this comment somewhere and I 100% agree with it exactly my thoughts, couldn’t have said it better.

You have a good point but the ending could also depend on who the audience wants Jojo to end up with also isn’t netflix incharged of this project? So there might be a chance that they change the ending. Also yes Jung Garam is credited first but don’t forget that Song is also the main lead and it might not mean anything, it’s just a position. And also I heard that the webtoon might not be completed yet.

Like seriously let the woman breath!
and I agree with you on this
