I might get hated for saying this, but that confession scene just didn't have any chemistry from my perspective. And to be very honest, I just don't get this Jae-Pil guy like dude. Yes, he first dated Jong-Hee(genuine feelings ig), took Yeong-Re for granted for 7 years, and just confessed because he realised that she has always been there when he needed someone to be Like, what is that a compensation for being there for him?
And now, what about the friendship codes we had? There is always a best friend's code, right? That we don't go after each other's first loves or interests or boyfriends or exes. Yes, if Yeong-Re had said it from the beginning that she liked him. Then that wouldn't have been a problem, because they would have never dated, but since she didn't, and then she decided to keep it hidden, and I get that he is her first love and everything, but isn't it about time you move on? Like, he dated your best friend? He chose her first. Shouldn't you just forget about him? And to be honest, he isn't even that character that she wouldn't be able to forget in her life or something. Yes, he has been there for 7 years. But still, how can you even think of liking him when he was with your best friend first?
About Jong-Hee, she does have some great audacity, like you're coming after 7 years, you don't know what everyone was going through. You have no idea what bonds were established or what they evolved into. And you are still going for what you want, even though your best friend liked Jae-Pil from the very beginning. (I like her)

To be very honest, I have no idea which side I should take and which couple I should support. I'm rooting for Sang Cheol and Jeong Bun, and Yeong-Sik is a good character one should have in life.
I just hope their friendship isn't ruined just because of some guy.

This episode reminded me that this is supposed to be scary, cuz ep 9 was sad and ep 8 is a blessing and since we have to wait a whole damn week for a new episode my goldfish memory just forgets
Everything is good but the screen time of Gao Tu and Wen Lang was RAGEBAIT like what happened after the hug, how did Wen Lang spend those 3 years and Gao Tu like atleast complete the story c'mon THE ENDING DIDN'T EVEN FEEL LIKE ENDING
