It’s just one annoying extra character,that dosen't have any connection with main story.That means it can be added later.Even xz doesn’t have any single scene with them till now.So why his script choice have to be in blame?
If you want to blame, then go to the director or thoes nepo babies.

Actually It's not that disappointing for me.I just skip thoes part and a little bit sad that we don’t get to see him more.His part is really engaging and story is also good. It's directors or other members fault.He is done his job perfectly. And i always appreciate his female lead choosing.
