"Xun Chuan. Cut off his hands." Wow, LR was sending a message to the Pei family, that next time they hurt her husband, it won't end with some servants loosing their arms. Loved that scene.

"Pei Wen Xuan is the prince consort, my husband. If this family doesn't like him, hurry up and expel him already. I'll give him a family." Wow, I loved those statements. It's always the prince saving a damsel in distress, but in this drama, the role seems to be reversed.

PLX angry face when he was slapped was pleasing to look at. That ungrateful scumbag!

I really thought it's going to be some harsh words, just as PLX uttered a few words in response to LR's statement, just as he's halfway through with what he's saying, he was bestowed a slap from LR. OMG, LR is on fire 🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥

"Why is the Prince Consort kneeling? Help him up." I loved that scene!

I loved how LR rushed to save PWX from the Pei family. What I loved more is the fact that she didn't try to enter politely. Our FL was so furious and said, "barge in"!

I think am beginning to love political dramas more than I do wuxia.

You're right, she's indeed a mature lady. She knows when to retreat and when to fight without thinking of the consequences, I love her character. I'm recently watching "The Princess Royal", it's a political drama. I'm loving it as much as I loved "The Double".

Yes, you're right. But now, I think there are more positive comments and reviews, compared to the previous ones. I remember when I completed 6 episodes, I gave this 9.5, but as I watched further, I ended up giving it a full 10. It's a drama worth anyone's time!
