I haven’t read the novel but in the comments I read that lu feng was supposed to be toxic, I don’t know how much they changed/if they changed the story but what I am seeing is a flawed character who would give up anything and everything to be with the person they love but the feeling isn’t reciprocated. Yes lu feng fucks up and yes he sometimes does things that are not good but everyone just sees him as a monster, no one tries to see things from his perspective. He also basically has no one to vent to because the person he loves just leaves him when things go south and his sister (although she wants the best for him) is trying to break them up and not really help lu feng process his feelings. Cheng yi might love lu feng but he doesn’t do much to protect their love when lu feng gave up everything for him
500 drinks??Even 100 drinks...They aren't shots, and if they were shots that would still be too many! But surely…
I’m guessing when they pay for 500 drinks the host&customer can drink as much of it as they like and the rest is like a tip so they don’t actually bring out 500 drinks (100 let alone 500 would probably be enough to kill someone depending on the alcohol percentage)
I have so many issues with how the scene with tims family went, from what I remember tim had no contact with his family after they left him all alone to pay off their debt and you're telling me they just appear out of thin air? we don't see how they reunited? we don't see them mention a SINGLE word about how they left their son to handle everything on his own? They just appear, get upset about how their son tried to handle the debt (I clearly remember it being mentioned how the house would cover around half the debt so that means they left the debt to him knowing full damn well this kid who hadn't even graduated let alone had a job wouldn't be able to find a good paying job to cover the rest) THEY accumulated and just leave after having that convo??? might as well have had that convo over facetime since they are that low on money no need to go on a plane yk
the ending felt really rushed, I mean the whole series kinda felt rushed like it was supposed to be 16+ episodes or it was supposed to have longer episodes. About the endingfirst they didn’t really talk about what happend, Yoshi didn’t explain his side of what happened like how his manager was the one trying to turn his good acts and pain into positive popularity? or what happened with the movie did they go to ny to take the movie would meng play the other lead as its about their story, we also did not see anything related to how yoshi was treated by people like did he get harassed because he came out as gay? did his image improve because that girls lies were exposed?(I also thought we would get cameos from the other original cast, I haven’t watched the main series but I’m guessing the classmates that got married were implied to be the main couple from addicted) well overall it was still cute, I’m happy chinese people found a way to make uncensored bls/gls
