… I have seen worse but this one ranks up there.
I have not done a review for a while now. Mostly I do them if they are really good or really bad… Sad that this is a bad review. But that is what to expect from a “mini” drama like this. Poor acting, poor script, poor storyline, poor sound. Was just lacking a lot!Storyline - …was needing a TON of work! I would give more points if it was written better. Unfortunately it was not. It did not flow smoothly. There were things unresolved with her family. It went from problems with her family and threats from her “sister” to nothing resolved. Then a childhood “friend”, of the ML, appears and that was all jumbled! Then the ML’s sister appears out of no where and causes another huge mess. And the ENDING! Oh the ENDING!! I cannot tell you AGAIN! how much I hate short stupid endings! If you don’t give me a satisfactory ending I am going to mark you down! This ending was pathetic! I hated it! Storyline was just stupid!
Acting/Cast - the ML/FL had poor acting. They just did not deliver! I am almost certain that most of these mini dramas are just the beginning of their acting career for most of them, but these two and the rest of the cast was sad, sad, sad! The script did not help them one bit. Their acting was sort of childish, especially the ML.
Music/ Sound - well… there really was not much music to comment on but the sound disappeared completely in parts and then they played music over the voices in places. So it did not help this mini.
Rewatch - NO! This will not rank as a rewatch for me. It just did not deliver.

Meh… not that great of drama lacked a lot!
It was not the best short drama. Worth at least one watch...maybe lol. I feel overall that this drama could have been better with a well written storyline and better cast, who can act. Sorry it lacked a lot. I think that is why it took me months to complete it. I just made it to episode 3 and could not take the emotionless acting and bad storyline. But I finally decided to finish it to get it out of my watchlist.Storyline - needed a lot of work. I thought the story was a bit interesting but fell short because of time maybe (about 5 min episodes)? It could have been better. More explained in it to complete the story and it needed a better ending. It felt rushed due to the time.
Acting Cast - ahhh! I want to be nice but I can’t! I just can’t! I usually try not to be brutal to the actors but these guys just plain sucked. They lacked a lot. And I know it is not just the scripts fault, it is theirs. The emotion was not there and just all around lacked completely. They felt stiff in their acting like it was forced on them to do. It was painful to watch.
Rewatch - more than likely not. It was not a drama that really impressed me to watch it again.

Excellent “short” drama!
Sometimes I love these bite size dramas that don’t take 16-52 hours to watch. This was a great watch and a must rewatch for me.Storyline - was well written. It ran smoothly. I loved the plot and the build up to what happened. Kept me on a hook to finish it and know what really happened. I loved that the main leads worked out all their issues and believed in each other even when outsiders and doubts crept in to try and break them up. I love that about this drama! I was happy there was strong leads and not some push overs that are weak. I felt that it finished perfectly.
Acting/Cast - did a great job! I loved watching their chemistry grow. They all did a great job.
Music - I liked it.
Rewatch - Yes, this one is now a favorite. Was well done and I would watch it over and over again. Especially when I am needing a break from the long dramas.

Waist of time. Wish I had not watched it.
If you are into watching dramas we’re women would sacrifice their dignity for a man who abused them both verbally and physically then this is your show. As for me… nope! Not gonna happen! I could not wait to get it over with. Can’t believe I actually finished it.Storyline - was choppy, poorly written, and just plain demeaning to women and to what love should be. The girl sacrifices her dignity because she has “loved” the ML for years. He hates her over the stupid manipulative half sister up until the last episode, then all of a sudden the FL grows some backbone and goes for him at the wedding of him and her HS. He never showed any feelings for her until she asked for the divorce (he looked and sounded like he was going to cry but agreed and walked away?)… but in the last episode when the FL crashed the wedding (thanks to the awesome actress friend, I liked her lol) the ML said he “secretly loved her for years but could not get her”!??? What? You had her for 23 episodes (1 year of marriage) and treated her like trash. Oh man I am sorry this was so freaking poorly written! I need to stop. It is not worth the 24/5min episodes!
Acting/Cast - I really believe they could have done better with a better script. But this hurt for me to really like them.
Side note here - sound was awful throughout the drama and I watched most of it on WeTV. On top of that… in the last episode… they needed to make the “video,” that was put up on the big screen showing the HS’s (half sister) true colors, sound loud so everyone could hear what was being said. It would have been a bit more believable.
Rewatch - not in this lifetime! I just can’t watch anything that has to do with a “50 shades of grey” spin-off. Not my type of show.

This show was a hot mess!
I have never given a show this bad of a review before but I can’t help it! This was awful! I wish I never waisted my time!I really liked the beginning of this show. And then it became a hot mess. The MFL loved the CEO but in the end she chose the life long friend. And the way the she was treated was awful! And she acted like an immature child half the time. It was almost sickening. It was all over the place with the story. I really did not want to finish it. But I just had to see how bad it got... and I was not disappointed! She left with her life long friend.
The main male lead I thought was the only good actor in it. I really like the main female lead but felt she did not fit this role.
I was really hating this show so bad I was about to throw my phone at the wall! My husband came in and saved it! 😂🤣I just have nothing nice to say about this show other than it started out promising... and then crashed bad!🙄🤦🏼♀️
Rewatch? Umm NO! I will not waist my time again on it.

Perfect story. Loved it to the end!
Well... I watched the Pillow Book before this one and loved the story very much! This one I have had in my watch list for a long time now and I am glad I finally watched it!Story... was beautiful. Did I skip some? Ya ONLY because I wanted to find out what would happen next and was to anxious and impatient to find it out in some parts.😂🙄 Sorry that is me. Sometimes I skip parts or episodes because I cannot wait to see what happens! It was really good though! The last 30 episodes I was glued to! The ending was going to make me mad but I am glad I was not disappointed! I did love how they intertwined the Emperor Lords story into this one. Now it makes me want to watch that one again!
Cast... was so good in this! They did an awesome job. There were a few I so wanted to see get their just rewards and I am so glad they finally did. The two main leads I fell in love with and could not get enough of the story they told.
Music... was beautiful! Wanting to find it on Amazon but no such luck!☹️
All in all this show was great! I loved the story and the acting. I will be watching it again along with Three Lives Three Wolds The Pillow Book. Now I am off to watch the second one and I am excited that there is a third one coming out soon! I hope it is as good as this one.

Loved the storyline! Great show!
This show had a great storyline. It was well written. Mostly well executed. Loved the music in it. So that said...I have watched my fair share of Taiwanese shows. Some I liked but there are some that are just to crazy for my liking. This show, I have to say, is one of my favorites. Mostly because of the storyline. I loved the play on them being in a novel world vs the real world. I loved how they showed what was going on in the real world and then jump to the novel world. It was really well done and I did not get confused as to what world they were in.
I really loved their romantic scenes. They touched my heart. Made me cry when they both came out of a coma and were back in the real world and he did not remember her. The leads did a really good job. The emotion was there for me to see and feel. I kept on wanting to grab that book and shove it in his face every time they showed it!😂 Just read it and you would REMEMBER her!!!!!🙄
The only problem I had was that some of the supporting actors/actresses seems to be off on their acting in some scenes. It seemed like at the time they filmed they were having an off day. I could be wrong but I felt that way in several parts of the show. But that is my one and only complaint.
The ending was great! Thank you for not making it a show where family is stopping them from being together. This show was a break from that! 😉Thank goodness! I am glad that the ones I really thought would turn out evil did not. They actually accepted they had done wrong and changed. Most of these shows they are evil to the end! Glad this one was not like that.
Rewatch? Umm YES! It is worth it! So it is in my Favorites list on Viki.

Sad story but well done!
First off… I have not done a review on here in a LONG time so bear with me… second, this story reminds me of the Max Factor heir who drugged and taped women. He got away with it for year because he was the heir to a large makeup company. He believed he was invincible because of his family and their money. They finally got solid evidence. He videotaped every encounter and kept them. They finally got ahold of them and he went to prison. Sad story but it is a true one. So this reminds me of that story. The rich thinking they are invincible because of statues and money! Sick.Storyline - was well written and very well acted! It was solid in my opinion. I loved the ending. I watched it twice now and skipped most of the first past this second time. I knew what happened I just wanted to get to the part I love the most… when he knows what really happened to her and stands by her even against his family and fiancé. Makes my heart melt and I cry with them. So sad what happens to the little girl but I LOVE that the jerk that was the ring leader got what he deserved in the end. Sad that the little girl had to pay the price for his sick actions. Loved how the ex-fiancé did not lose her humanity and actually helped the fl. I was really happy to see that! Most of these shows make the ex out to be so nonhuman.
Acting - sheesh where to begin? First, I LOVE Zhang Beixi! His voice is to die for! So deep and sexy. Yep I will say that because it is so true! His voice kind of reminds me of Kingone Wang! Now he also has a deeper sexier voice! But I could listen to both of them all day long! Ok enough of that! Zhang Beixi is an amazing actor! I have seen so many of his short dramas and I have liked them all! He can act all sorts of characters! He can show true emotion! He is just amazing! And very good looking! Melts my heart lol. The FL Chai Hui Xin is a really good actress also. She can play evil and good roles perfectly. I have seen a lot of her minis also.
Rewatch - is a 50/50 for me. I mean …I have seen it twice… but it is not one of those you would watch all the time. I am one to stay mostly away from tear jerkers. So I will watch it again but it might be a ways down the road. It is at least worth one watch.

One of the better mini dramas out there
Sometimes it is a hit or miss on these mini dramas. This one was a hit for me. It did not hurt that the ML was definitely eye candy and boy can he kiss! lol that said… overall it was well done both in storyline and acting.Storyline - I honestly thought it was perfectly done. Might have could used a bit of work but overall it is one of the best mini dramas. It had drama, a bit of mystery, intrigue, and best of all… romance! I wanted to jump to the end to find out what happens with the Leads but the story kept me grounded to complete it all. I like that. Most dramas I skip parts/episodes because they have a lot of filler. This one not so much.
I liked the way the two “sisters” ended on a good note. The adopted sister was not really bad just miss guided. I like that the ML did not really give up on the FL and she had brains enough to figure out he was not really as bad of a guy as she thought he was at first. Their encounters were funny at times and melted your heart at others. Great storyline. Was a bit different and unique in some ways.
Acting/Cast - I really liked the ML’s. They had good chemistry and made their parts theirs. They did a great job. Like I said before, the ML was not bad to watch lol. But I liked his acting the most. He did a good job. Hope to see him in more dramas.
Rewatch - Yes! I will put this on my top faves! It is a good mini!

Was ok. Definitely NOT a favorite of mine.
It is worth at let’s one watch. Would I watch it again? Probably but it would be a very long time before I do. It was really not that great… here is why…(These are my opinions and pet peeves about this drama and others like it. Watch it at least once to get your own view on it).
Storyline - sorry this is going to give spoilers.
1. I am sorry but I would never marry someone who says their baby is mine when I don’t remember a thing the night it was supposed to have happened. I am a very conservative person so that coming from me is not great lol. But honestly I would wait till the baby is born and a DNA test done before I marry anyone! Give me proof it is mine. So many of these dramas are like the opposite of this. “I will marry you and believe the baby is mine, even though I love someone else.” I don’t want an ultra sound to prove the baby is there or not! I want actual DNA and I will be 100% present through the hole process so there is no lying and cheating or swapping DNA. The men in these dramas need to grew some brains! I wish they would write at least one guy that stood up for hisself and got actual real proof and none of this cheating the tests and believing what the woman says.
2. So she (the FL) “indirectly” killed his parents. It was really no one’s fault not even hers. It was an accident. So you’re going to hold a grudge against someone you love because of that? And the grandfather is going to hold a young person accountable for it? Truth be told the mother is to blame for over correcting her steering. She is the one that killed them.
I guess I think way differently than most people but common sense would play a huge part in it for me if I was in these situations. I know I am totally knit picking this drama apart but it is a hard one for me to get past these things because logic would play a huge part and stop a whole lot of yelling, fighting, lying, and crying. Other than those points it was ok.
Acting/Cast - they did an all right job. Not bad. I would probably look a few of them up and watch another of their dramas they are in.
Rewatch - maybe if I am really wanting to see it again other than that probably not.

I. Love. This. Drama!
I normally do not write reviews anymore on dramas that have a truckload of reviews already… but I just have to for this one! This was so cute! I laughed (and cried a bit) through the entire drama! It was really good and very well done!Storyline - was perfect! Well written and well executed. Could not have been better… at least for me. It was funny and had some heart to it. I did not skip a thing! I loved that they made the FL tough. Not some wimp who gives into everything and what people say. The only time she did that was…well not going to tell you. You’re just going to have to watch it for yourself!
Acting/Cast - I loved them all right down the the silent director! He was funny! But I really liked the FL. She did a great job. Ahh what am I saying… they all did. Just watch it!
Rewatch - duh! It was one of the best kdramas I have seen in a while. At the top of my must watch again list.

Another not to bad bite size drama
This was a cute story if not a bit like all other CDramas. As the other reviewer said it was a bit cliché… but I watched the entire drama and it turned out good.Storyline - was about the same as most CDramas… two rich boys love a poor girl… one mean spoilt prima Donna that tries to ruin the poor girl. At least she turned out nicer than most mean girls. It was not too bad done though.
Actin/Cast - did a good job. Liked them esp the leads.
Rewatch - probably later down the road I will watch it again. It was not my most favorite but it was cute.

Another good short drama
This was short and sweet and I liked it. I do have to agree with one of the other reviewers that the ML was a coward. But all in all, I do like this mini drama.Storyline - I really liked this story. Other than what I posted above, I thought it was good. I won’t give any spoilers but I can tell you I knew exactly who kissed her from the beginning. The signs were there but she ran in circles trying to figure out who it was. This reminds me of a web drama sort of similar, but this one I liked better.
Acting/Cast - I loved the FL! She cracked me up. I thought she did a great job in playing a bit of a ditzy girl when it came to love. I really liked her. She honestly made the whole show. The other cast was great also.
Rewatch - yep! I sure will. It was short and sweet and perfect for me.

Cute simple romance
Lighthearted and fun to watch. Much better than “If I Never Loved You”! The script was better but had a bit of a cheese factor.Storyline - simple and light not a bad story. I actually liked this one. Was a bit cheesy but I sometimes like the not-to-serious dramas. Was great for a bite size drama.
Acting/Cast - they did good. I think in time they could be better. But I enjoyed them and felt they did not to bad of a job.
Rewatch - Yes, I really would. When I am in the mood for something short and simple this would be the one.

Was not what I expected but in a great way!
I was pleasantly surprised with this drama. Reading the synopsis can fool you. It starts out as a light and fluffy drama and then turns to an action drama full of suspense, thrills, and laughs. I could not stop watching it until the very end!Storyline - was a shock to me but in a great way. I was expecting another fluff and stuff drama but got one full of twists and turns. I WAS going to type spoilers but you know what? Go watch it for your self! It is a really well made drama and keeps your interest throughout the entire thing!
Acting/Cast - awesome! All of them did a great job! I really like all the main cast and will watch more dramas with them in it.
Rewatch - yes, yes, YES! Full of romance, twists and turns, and laughs. Well worth it!
