A perfect example, that kdrama, “Our universe”. What a letdown!

Looks like the drama is following more or less the plot of the novel, with some characters being introduced earlier. Some scenes are almost identical. I was surprised that the kiss scene they share in the most recent episode was not in the book.

For reference, I think the first 9 episodes is more or less the first 28 chapters of the book

It’s to maintain order and decorum. Helps prevent collision and socializing. Hard to whisper and chat to the person next to you without hitting that person’s hat. The emperor was like “you’re going to stay straight and focused today, in my court!” haha

I agree. While reading the book, I felt like he would never healed. Happy they made it realistic
