No I did not mean being friends with other women, just having friends (male and female friends) in general, and being fun to be around

While I like this show (not so much the last two episodes), it made me realized even more how a lot of MLs lack personality or are one dimensional: they are either cold, and sometimes with low EQ, or too good to be true, like pinning for the Fl without dating anyone for years and years, well into their 40s.

I can count on one hand the MLs who actually have more than 1 friend (who isn’t the work sidekick, secretary) and are easy-going and fun to be around.

Any recommendations?

Ok at ep 20: the time jump is a bit confusing…Anybody know the timeline? They met in Finland and how many months did they dated before the Fl left to go back to China?Once in China, the ml visited her on her bday and the next jump was a year and a half?

Not gonna lie, I actually skip almost all the lovey-dovey scenes between the fl and ml in ep 11. While their romance is cute, it hasn’t moved me to the point that I need to watch these scenes, for example cuddling in front of the tv

Yeah I noticed that. At first I was like, hmm ok, maybe because they are in another country, but they also did not follow this rule in mainland China.

For me it’s the amount of winter coats and jackets. Ain’t no way all these fashionable coats and jackets fit in the Fl’s little luggage.

I also skipped a lot …almost all the scenes with the exes.

I am still not over ep 29 of LMLMV. They give us a proper kiss with some passion, then the ML asked the Fl « are you sleepy? », and then they proceeded to actually go to sleep? I was like « huh?🤔 » lol

Ni Ni is a movie star. We were lucky that she did these dramas. I thank her daily (and Chang Chen) for starring in Love & Destiny
