I enjoyed the drama, but will I rewatch it? No. The reunion between the leads was lacklustre. I never really felt the passion between them like I felt it in other xiaxian couples: Eternal Love, Love & Destiny, Love & Redemption.

The CGI and fighting scenes were also lacklustre. Evil beings easily vanquished.

The acting was good - I’m a fan of both leads. The costumes were great. The chemistry between the leads was also good but, like I said, their love wasn’t passionate in my opinion, it was more sweet innocent love.

So I have now watched all the episodes…spoilers incoming

They could’ve done it like the ending in Love & Destiny, and Eternal Love! Where they ran to each other!

So you mean to tell me the ml comes back after a thousand years and we don’t even get a word, a kiss, a hug? and the two of them starting at each other with a smile on their face while 5 metres apart. 😕

Ep 40 - a lacklustre reunion ...

I saw an article about this show potentially having a season 2…I highly doubt the article is true but in 50 episodes, the fl has had only 1 win, an insignificant one on top of that. And now Ser Evil and Da Dumb are competing to come up with a new menu? Who cares!

This was suppose to be a revenge story and I feel like we are getting further and further away from it.

I can’t focus on the story because of the makeup. The fl’s makeup is literally coffin-ready makeup.

I dropped «  the reincarnated lovers » because of the fl’s makeup. She looked so unaturel.

I skipped so much that I confused about the story of twins - Ae go and Xiu Yan? How come they are both alive? I’m at ep 40

unless she comes back at ep 40?!
