Look no further - Juichen, the ML in Love & Destiny. He is one of the strongest and looks absolutely the part. So manly. The fl in Love & Destiny starts off weak, but grows stronger after her tribulations (it takes a long time). She is also a Phoenix

After putting the fl in the fait accompli, in ep 34, he is reminiscing about the past and asking for a second chance? Sorry, but ep 25-26 are still fresh in my mind including the destruction of her home. His thought process and plans were really not well explained in this drama, especially in the episodes leading to her death.

Yes, I always thought he was a wishy-washy God, but I guess I’ll have to wait and see if they are able to communicate and move past all the misunderstandings. I still do not think this an epic love story.

I wanted to see her reject him in public so I could point my finger at the tv/ml and say « ha ha! » like Nelson from the Simpsons lol

In Love & Destiny, we have a ml who fought against the established rules and everyone for the fl. Everybody was out to get the fl. He spent almost the entire first arc protecting her.

Regarding Love & Destiny: the cast is mature. The ml is older, manly, and not some skinny innocent pretty ml

I don’t think so because based on the poster, it’s an unrequited love tag with JH. Also, she accidentally killed the fl’s dad, stole a baby and replaced the baby with hers, did identity theft, fraud, and so many other crimes, so no happy ending for her, that’s for sure.
