I also agree. Her acting was unbearable in ‘When a man loves a woman’. I couldn’t stand her character and her acting. Not sure if she was directed to act the way she did - completely emotionless - but I was not impressed.

Tbh, I do not consider this a happy ending. I would not have been as forgiving as the ML

Childish and no chemistry between the leads are definitely a turn off. I guess I’ll watch a few episodes to see for myself once all the episodes are out.

I havent watched any good j-drama this year either. My issue with j-drama is how they portray - in a lot of dramas - the female lead: very infantile, extremely shy, always saying sorry when they are not at fault, complete doormats and/or Mary Sues, not assertive, wide eye scared look, can’t voice their opinions and/or communicate their issues, always walking around looking down, and mind you, the fl is sometimes acting like this and is in her 20s-30s. I just can’t relate to these unrealistic portrayals. If you can recommend one j-drama where the fl is likeable (and does not act like a child or a scared puppy), I’ll watch it.

How was the chemistry? Any decent kisses? HE?

The synopsis makes me not want to watch this drama.

Really why? Spill the tea. This year has not been a good year for kdramas. Dropped almost everything. Luckily, C-drama released a few good ones this year!

Wait he beats her? which episode and how did he found out. Does the fl knows that he knows. The fl was extremely naive and trusting when she poisoned with no questions asked about side effects. He could’ve died and she would be like « how did he died from an amnesia poison, let me ask senior brother. » 🙄
