I just finished Idol I and honestly I liked it overall. It was a really nice mix of romcom + thriller, and I actually…
I agree so much! I loved all the cute scenes and the romance aspect of it, their chemistry was amazing and I'm glad we got all the fluffy stuff, but at the same time I'm kind of disappointed about how the sasaengs and the way the industry works aspects of the story were kind of left behind and how he suddenly was cured of everything just because he spent some time with her. Again, I loved the drama, but I also feel that given how it started we could have gotten more in depth into all that.
While I generally agree with what you said I also found it ridiculous that an adult (not to mention person who…
That was a bit too much, like what do you mean somebody has to bring you food and make sure you're still alive because you've not left the bed in days only because your bias is dating? xD
Well saw a viral tweet on the drama & I guess it's from SK fan page, calling the FL an 'Akgae'. Firstly didn't…
People saying she's an akgae must have not watched the drama, because when was she being hateful to the other members? It's true she did feel a bit like a solo stan, she was always centered in Laik and I found it kind of a downpoint how she practically never interacted/reacted to the other members, but given her job and that she had that deep connection with Laik since the beginning of his career I thought it was kind of justified.
I liked the drama, it was cute and realistic, but what I liked the most was their honest conversations while having a meal together. And I really want to try all the food, everything looks delicious!
I thought we'd never reach a day where such dramas would be made but I'm so happy that we're finally there! And ABO Desire is a great portrayal of the genre and I can only have good words about it. Yes, there're some questionable and dark scenes and you'll keep wondering what the hell is going on from time to time, because wth? But what can I say? I love a good character and Hua Yong being a phycho in love kept me thoroughly entertained. xD
Overall I thought it was decently fun if a bit plot holey, but they're really trying to convince me that Mr abandonment…
Right? It makes no sense, they've been sulking for the whole series (which I can understand), but they're ok with the way they chose at the end? I think it needed at least a bit more of talking and convincing that what we saw.
save your time, its not worth it (according to me) i love the actors so i wanted to try and finish this but i…
If you like the actors, you should watch it, because even if the story isn't all there, at least the actors are cuties and try their best. If you start watching without expectations at least you can enjoy the acting.
i love the actors but I gotta admit they did terrible acting here esp THE ACTION SCENE ðŸ˜ðŸ˜ðŸ˜ I CRINGED…
I feel like that was more on the editing part than the acting itself. Yeah, they could have been better and less stiff, but since actors aren't supposed to actually hit each other, usually camerawork and editing help in making the fighting scenes more real, but they didn't do it for this series and I can't understand why.
It’s not a bl . It’s LGBTQ+ Japanese movies are not bls. Why people call everything with 2 males leads bl…
I'm sorry, I know it can also be called LGBTQ+ if you prefer it, but why wouldn't it be called a BL when it's literally about two men falling in love? And only because it's Japanese? What does nationality even have to do with it? Also, I assume you've watched the movie/read the manga, so I'm quite confused about your comment. Of course not everything with two male leads is BL, that's absurd, as far as I know there're a lot more straight dramas/movies with two male leads than BLs, but in this particular case the story is about two men falling in love with each other, so I don't think I'm wrong when I address it as a BL.
The tension was so high I couldn't breathe during the whole movie! Keita and Ryoma were amazing, I still can't believe we got this bl movie with such great actors, what a feast for the senses!
I don't really care about the 70 year-old dating the 20 year-old, I just consider it as if the grandpa had restarted his life at 20 or something, but what I'm really upset about is that, even though Zefang is the central character in the drama, we get to know so little about him. Yes, we know he was not the best person ever, but we also don't get a real chance at seeing who he really is and how he feels and why he is the way he is. And for me the saddest thing is that nobody except the grandpa and Riqing are upset that he's dead. I'd say Haiyuan is even glad, his "Yeah, your grandson is dead, but anyways let's kiss" attitude made me feel put off by him, like I understand you love the grandpa, but at least understand that if he lives means that he's also lost someone important to him and it's not easy for him to accept that his new life might mean his grandson is unable to come back. I don't know, the plot is interesting, but I don't know if I feel happy or sad about the ending.
I'm on eps 3 right now and still can't ignore how WEIRD the whole story is..they could've made the plot to be…
So real! I thought the drama was going to be about the grandpa being in his grandson's body while also being able to somehow comunicate with him or something, or just them kind of going on and off about the body swap, but this? I don't know, I loved the grandpa to bits, he was the best character for me, but I really don't like that Zefang was sacrificed like this.
One of the best series I've watched, it's got everything! And the chemistry is chemistrying so much, it's amazing. The way they look at each other and the way they kiss feels so special and beautiful... What a gem of a series, honestly, I wish more bls had this kind of quality.
The show was cute and ok, but I needed more of the gumiho! He is such an interesting character and I feel like we got less than half of what he could have been.
Khemjira will go down in history as one of the bls that show Thainess the best, with all the attention to detail when it came to the sets, the spells, the diferent dialects, the respect for what's holy for their society, their deities, their way of viewing life... Everything about it was beautiful. The actors did great and I couldn't be happier that P'Aof directed it. And the OST is amazing, I'm obsessed with Keng's song especially, and all of them are perfect for the story.
Again, I loved the drama, but I also feel that given how it started we could have gotten more in depth into all that.

I also thought that Armin resembled Gulf a bit. xD
