I mean, the real story starts, at least for me, when they grow up, and I have to pull through the parts when they're young

Well, you're about 6 years late with that, my first laptop happened to be an acer, also the second
but now, the laptop I got for my 15th B-day and for passing with 80% two years ago, 1 month before my 16th birthday,
I think I've had it for 6 months or something already
crashed once, but there's this amazing feature where I can actually just reset everything *yay* and crash-free for 4 months ^^
I hope it'll have a long and healthy life ^^
