I rewatched the ep. 14. According to Master Lee’s narrrative to Park Jin, ‘some of them will get jealous (it showed CP) and some of them will worry (showed Yul’s face). So in my opinion, Yul’s only motive is to help Naksu/MD and Uk. He is not a bad guy. Don’t hate him.
