Baa did the same thing what others did.. in the last 1.5 episodes if you observe he repeated the same mistakes what others did.. Just that his mistakes were soon rectified as the other characters had already learned from their own mistakes

It is definitely worth a watch. Just go in with a blank and fresh mindset. Do not compare with any show or pair. The new couple is definitely cute and the show has a plot. The side characters have story too. So all in all you can go ahead and give a try

Ok yes i gotta agree most of those plots were just abrupt ending. The cousin one definitely was like he tried killing zi xiang and then it just got resolved. The father didn't seem as scary when we came than they kept portraying him all the while. N yes the way they handled the finance storyline it was a lil here and there.
I think more than the length of the show, they are not yet ready to handle complex arcs. They make mistakes while doing that. Where as if its a simple linear story then technically its good

Either of which will be cleared in upcoming episodes.
About things changing from his past life :: I think the trigger factor / major difference is that thada decided to show himself this time which he didn't in previous one.. So that could be the factor of all changes
