About the show, to each their own everyone has their own kind of shows they prefer. But the show had a lot of layers. It was not a simple angst or emotional one, it was a realistic take on characters portrayed in the show.
Did they mention anytime what year this series takes place? For 1st 2 episodes I didn't even realize ( just knew ita olden times n not now) somewhere around episode 4 realized it must set during one of the world wars ( still not sure) if anyone can give exact timeline.. Also tell me where was it mentioned ( I feel I might have missed due to many things not being translated) if they didn't mention timeline explicitly then its difficult for some to deduce just by what they arr showing

There is definitely crime n fighting here but its not unnecessary, thats the main plot coz it is a thriller series or a political drama!! If you are looking for just romantic or sweet slice of life show then this is not for you!
