Surprisingly, this series turned out to be much better than I thought. It's really not standard, no annoying rival character (one very entertaining rival character who's not in the way at all but makes everything even better) Also the female lead was interesting because of her impulsiveness and funny personality. Although the male lead lisping was not very charming it was very entertaining and luckily didn't hurt the romance. It was good that he was a quick learner (no overreactions at the time-slip *cough*rooftopprince*cough*, maybe slightly to little though) and was also realistically smart, something we don't see often. Actually all actors did exeptionally well. I will write a review about this series when it's not quarter past one at night. :)

lol I completely understand. I took japanese lessons for a few months about two years ago but I stopped because of school. I'm know self studying though, especially kanji because my vocabulary is pathetic. You need discipline for it, although it's also a lot of fun. Dramas really help too.

Ah, that's not something I could watch every day then. But I got through Curse of The Golden Flower and Mulan and I loved them so I guess I'll be able to handle this one too. I'm really curious to it.
Btw, I see you're watching Princess' Man. :D I'm really curious as to how you'll like it. Though I watched the first few eps half a year before the rest, I got hooked at a certain point (not sure where), and as you can see it stands proudly between my favorites. I still haven't found it's equal though...

lol. I know everybody hates it but I really enjoyed Mary Stayed Out All Night. (I'm pretty sure It's because ''You're beautiful'' was my first or second Kdrama and I fell in love with his smile... So, having only watched Jdramas, the not-yet-Kdrama-familiar me was able to get through mary rather well, (I think I'd drop it too had I watched it now though...) and even ordered mary calenders. (lol. Yes, it was that bad)I'm not that into him anymore though. Thus my doubt. lol But I'm still curious, because the present day story could be interesting, maybe? Btw, I see you're a Liar Game fan. :D eheheh.
I'm thinking of watching Red Cliff btw (because of the music. great reason.) since it's a favorite of yours, is it that great?

Exactly, there are series I really enjoy but admit they aren't really all that amazingly good. I won't rate them really high but I'll keep fond memories. (Like that series Queen In Hyun, I'm not always paying attention during it, but still I'm enjoying it greatly, I really want to continue...)
I agree, I'm really enjoying King2Hearts. It really has my personal interests and curiosity too. I mean isn't this series quite pro-north Korea? After hearing on the news about someone in the south had gotten arrested because of joking around with North-Korean art, which the SK government took seriously. It makes me wonder... I don't think I'dd give K2H a 10, I'm not really at peace with Bong Gu, but it will probably not go below 9. :)
Btw, have you watched Love Rain? I'm thinking of using it as a substitute for Rooftop Prince. lol

Rooftop prince's description sounded really interesting. But it's a long series so I'll wait for a bit until I'm not negclecting my schoolwork anymore... If you watch it before I do, don't forget to tell me what you think! I'm guessing it'll be more like the serious Sageuks (PM, TMTETS, those with murder and such, hehehe...) and that's actually more my kind. I'm also watching some Tdramas at the moment. I'm planning to start watching Shokuzai too, I'm expecting it to be great, maybe even a possible favourite. :)

Lol, Painter of the Wind is also on my on hold list. I really like to draw so it should suit me but it's not really gotten to me yet... I just watched the first ep of Sungkyunkwan yesterday, I'm hoping I'll enjoy it. I don't think it'll be anything like PM and TMTETS. More like a Sageuk version of the standard (but enjoyable) rom-coms. Not really what I'm looking for but it was well received, so... maybe?
Omg! I'm watching K2H right now and I'm really really enjoying it! It's probably because it has my personal interest. (the 2 koreas and such, very interesting) Lee Seung Gi's character is quite despicable but it's also a really funny series. Until now think it's great. Though you really should wait, because, as you know, not being able to continue really is annoying. I'm lacking space here...
