Which episode will we know the reason why LBY keeps collecting 'love tokens' from CSS?

I can't get over the emperor guilt tripping CSS father into a lifetime of indebtedness to LBY for saving their daughter when in fact, he's just playing the matchmaker. LOL ..... when CSS and her father left the tent and put their hands on their chests in the same way, i remember CSS and her mother when they fought with the 1st chamber madam Lou and her daughter. Like mother, like daughter and like father, like daughter.

True, but we can always imagine possibilities. With CSS personality, i feel like she can elicit change in a person (she's the FL!). Take for example, LY and not to mention our ML, LBY. There's also a possibility (in an alternate world, LOL!) that YS could change for the better, all in the name of love. But you're right, YS is actually the worst of the 3. Still, he is part of our heroine's realization of her deep love for our ML.

Keeping our fingers crossed and hoping the best for all the cast and crew of LLTG to be able to work through the time pressure and still deliver an amazing drama!

I did get your point. I believe that any of the 3 would be good to Niao Niao because of their love and respect for her. And Niao Niao also, her personality is amiable and understanding. I'm just rooting for our main male lead, that's all.

Yes I understand what you mean. In this forum, we have a gathering of people who have one thing in common: we all love and enjoy LLTG and LW and ZL! So we can gush and bash and many will be able to relate!

I'm guessing as long as she's with LBY who is rich and a royal, grandma will be nice! LOL ......

Great insight. Oftentimes, the one you fall in love with passion is just hormones working. When you become immune to the workings of the hormones, you fall out of love. In most cases, I think it's better for love to come softly like starting with friendship and blossom into that deeper bond. Of course, there are always exceptions. I know a few who fell in love fast and got married and stayed together in their old age. But this is actually rare.

I agree with a big BUT. But LBY is better for CSS. His love is like the galaxy! No dimensions just limitless!

That's one of the reasons why I love this drama so much. It's not a comedy and you will see the seriousness of their acting and the situation but it comes out as sooo funny. I can't help laughing out loud myself!

Yes, she will be ecstatic when the dowries are sent. Especially when she sees LBY! So handsome and manly, she will be sweet to Niao Niao by then.

Grandma prefers boys over girls. And she was influenced by the evil aunt. Basically, she just went along with what the evil aunt insinuates to her.

I agree. The whole cast is also amazing. The actress who portrayed her grandma really had me laughing so hard. The scene where she clung to the betrothal gifts while wailing so loud and cursing the emperor. LOL ..... then there was a message from the palace and she got scared .......ha ha ha! I love this drama so much. It's epic and well-balanced. I hope, too, that they stay consistent. If not, LW and ZL will carry the show through the end. But I'm guessing it won't come to that. They have a good director, good script and talented cast.

Episode 21-22 was a blast! Similar to the previous episodes, it had me crying and laughing out loud at certain instances in the drama. It looks like the producers, scriptwriters and director tried to stick to the novel as much as possible. I laughed so hard at the emperor's response when he learned of LBY's injury recurring because he rescued CSS again. LOL ......he was fuming with the audacity of the young people who crossed the line during the banquet but as soon as he heard that LBY and CSS were together, he forgot his anger and just focused on scheming to get LBY and CSS together. Love this emperor so much.

Our OTP certainly will go through a lot of trials but in the end their love for each other will be stronger and deeper!

I'm not really sure. The emperor's personality is so nice so much so that he won't take any action against the people who stood by him during the worst of the war even if they do anything against the rules. His gratitude trumps over justice. My impression is that he didn't want to rock the boat, so to speak, because the peace the country is enjoying was bought with so much sweat and blood. So he chose not to delve deeply into the case. I feel like subconsciously he knew but just chose to let it go since it's in the past already. But LBY being LBY, will not let go. Their culture believes that the dead will not have peace until vengeance is meted for those who did them wrong. I think that is LBY's burden.

CSS would not be CSS if she doesn't fight for what she wants in life. At this point, she still believes that LY is who she needs to be happy.
