The Chinese gov't now limits TV dramas to a maximum of 40 episodes so they couldn't extend it to 50.
It's a pity that the govt released this mandate before WRTW's release. I would have enjoyed watching YY and ZL in more episodes. The other C-dramas are just too long for me, 50 up to 75 episodes. But this one, I would have watched it all the way to the end just to see YY-ZL together.

I love the leads from other shows. How is the chemistry between the two? Are there any real kisses or hugs?
True. It gives me butterflies when they have eye contact. I doubt there'll be another pairing such as them even ZL is known to have good chemistry with her main leads, her chemistry with YY is sooo great!

True. This drama was very stingy with kisses but I can ignore it because YY and ZL's chemistry was off the charts. Even though they're just talking it feels like they're flirting already lol!

Honestly I was majorly disappointed with the end. Why do all these dramas start off so promising and then have…
I was a bit disappointed with the ending like you but only because I wanted the drama to show our main leads having kids running around. I think FLX and BFX's decision to withdraw from palace life was not reneging on their promises to their fathers. Instead, they chose to do it because if they keep fighting, the more people will suffer. They want to avoid a war and HC had the qualities of a good king who cares for his people. HC was a good ruler albeit he trusted the wrong person in the drama. In the novel, YWY wasn't that evil but the main couple wasn't that close also so I think we can let go of our disappoints and applaud the crew and staff's effort. Over all it was a great drama.

You're entitled to your opinion. I, on the other hand, don't think it's boring at all. The main leads had such great chemistry it permeates the whole drama and made it a hit. How many billion views does it have now?

So basically more than half of the episodes are used to mainly build the relationship with the second male lead…
I initially thought that it's the 2nd lead who will end up with her since he spent more time with her in the first few episodes while the main lead just comes and goes like a ghost he he he. The writer misled us on purpose so that we will keep guessing. You can't hold it against Lusi. She just portrayed the role as written in the script and i must admit that it's not one of best characters. Don't get me wrong, as an actress, she did justice to her character. She had great chemistry with both the main and 2nd lead! I almost wanted to ship her with the 2nd lead but the main lead did go through a lot of suffering for her. His character appeared sketchy which made him appear the villain! The cast was great but the story not the best.

done, so what to do with life now?
Well, you could read the novel in wattpd lol! Or watch BTS of WRTW over and over again while waiting for another YY-ZL pairing which might happen in 3-4 years in the future! Seriously, I get you. It's hard to move on to other dramas after having a pairing such as these two. Their couple character were the best in dramaland! I love how they trust and understand each other so much. No misunderstandings, no betrayal, no noble idiocy. Even though there were too few skinship between our CP, their love for each other shines through their eyes and are seen in their interactions. Love, love this drama and this CP.

but still im mourning the lost of her bro and father... like seriously, at the same time we had to do this and…
In the novel, her brother died young and never got to go to war. HFX also got to know BFX's real identity because her father was very sick so she had to go home. In a short while after she got back, her father died also.

Title Who Rules the World Spoiler
Completed!!!Binging the whole drama... IMO is the best way to spend the weekend 😄. Next is to read the original…
I read the novel in wattpd. So many changes but what impressed me the most was their casting. Zhao Lusi is perfect for BFX and Yang Yang for HFX. I could visualise them in my mind while reading the novel which has been translated in English. At least in the novel, Han Pu did not die!

Langhua is one of the most annoying characters in this show.
We never got to see what became of her after the unity of the states.

They probably used Wuxia protection, much more stronger and safer than the modern ones.
Does anyone know if they had kids in the novel?

I'm a fan of the book, but it is not feasible for a drama to be heavily focus on war grounds, so I'm glad this…
I agree! I read many complaints about plot holes and other stuff that they don't like but for me, over all I enjoyed the story. It wasn't draggy at all. Every week, I looked forward to the new episodes that is aired. For me, this is one of the best historical drama ever!

Why everything should have a baby or kids? In real life so many marriage couple didn't have or couldn't have a…
I had similar thoughts. In spite of the war, there is still the matter of succession and in those times, they get married at a specific age to have an heir. But maybe because BFX and HFX don't have living parents anymore, no one's pressuring them to continue the line lol! But i certainly would have loved to see them have kids and see how YY/HFX will take care of them! ha ha ha

Happy ending. They live happilly together til the end. Never got separated. Some viewers wish they have kids just…
I guess it's a happy ending for some like me because I prefer to believe that in a span of 10 years, just like many people said it's what is in the novel, they'd find a cure of HFX.

I know I read spoiler here about Han Pu... but dang!!!... idk why i still wasn't prepared for it, i had to pause…
I'm guessing many of us cried for Han Pu. I'm with you. I wish the scriptwriters kept Han Pu alive until the end. The ending would have been happier with him. Even though our main couple didn't have children, they'd have Han Pu. Now no more HP and no kids either!

Out of everything in the drama as a romance lover, i loved the relationships between the ML and FL... who would…
I have the same thoughts. Another romance lover like you. The wuxia is a bonus when YY and ZL does the moves so gracefully and effortlessly. One would think it's so easy unless you watch the BTS and you'd see how much time and effort they put into it. I'm glad they're just extraordinary people instead of gods, goddesses and demons. Never liked these types of fantasies.

Are the English subtitles better on WeTV or Netflix?
In our region, WRTW is not available in Netflix. It's coming soon. How can I wait when the series is finished already? Had to subscribe to WeTV just to watch YY and ZL incredible pairing!

I'm going to miss YY-ZL pairing so much! I just love their chemistry which I think is the best in the whole of drama land! Although many were disappointed with the finale but in my opinion that is not YY-ZL and the casts' burden. They were amazing! I believe the scriptwriter could have done better. Still, I'm happy with how the drama ended even though there were some events that I wished happened. I hope there will be a season 2! Or YY-ZL pairing in a modern drama. I bet they'll nail their roles and they'll be awesome on-screen!

Yeah it’s exactly my problem at the moment. Even before BFX, I easily dropped a drama because the FL is so weak…
Couldn't get interested in it either after watching ep 1. I didn't like the character of the FL. BFX is going to be a tough act to follow for FLs.
