We haven’t talked about how hard it is to move on after so many years of being in love with someone in a while. Like you said, It’s hard to realize you are in love with someone else and even harder to accept it. Like Mew, who is now questioning his ability to judge people, you start doubting your feelings. Letting go is hard enough in normal circumstances, but when the person you are letting go saved your life and cares for you, it’s even more difficult.

Tbh, I wouldn’t say Ray is in love (and I’m a SandRay shipper). Confused and possessive - yes, in love - not yet, maybe after ep. 9 if they don’t get interrupted again.
You sound so romantic talking about how illogical love is. But after a while, you start to hate yourself for falling in love with a person like Ray, and your self-esteem is nowhere to be seen. I love Sand too much and know he deserves so much better. But part of me thinks that even Ray deserves love. Sand will need an enormous amount of patience if they end up together.

Am I the only one who didn’t see the love that Mew is suffering from? I saw the insecurities in ep 5? but not the actual love. I’m saying this because it’s so hard for me to empathize with Mew. I’m starting to think I’m heartless, and I hate cheating so much😔 . After 8 eps, I wonder what Sand likes/loves in Ray. The neediness? The puppy eyes? Because Ray was just selfish for the most part. Why would you fall in love with a person who remembers you exist only when he’s lonely? (No hate, I’m curious).

I partially agree. I don’t understand how Ray, who thinks of himself as unlovable, is so sure that Sand is in love with him. Either Ray was bluffing, or the writers messed up. Tbh, I would choose Mew, too. Ray waited for years for an opportunity. Why would he choose Sand when he repeatedly declared he doesn’t want Ray as a boyfriend and Ray isn’t his special someone? I think we are starting to forget how messed up Ray is. I’m not trying to be his lawyer, but he has his reasons.

Yep. I think April was right about Mew being an adult making decisions for himself. At least on this Ray’s receiving undeserved hate.

I don’t understand how people expect Ray to stop Mew from behaving like that when Ray’s an addict who refuses to admit he has a problem.

Unpopular opinion. I’m not angry at Ray. Maybe because I expected it to be much worse. Until now, I thought he didn’t know what was happening around him, but today I was surprised. He knew that Sand was in love with him. He RAN (lol) to stop the kiss and c*ckblocked Sand again (what’s his deal with the threesomes). Ray even admitted having feelings for Sand and that he was happy with him. He wanted a DJ because he didn’t want Sand to see him with Mew. But he kissed Sand, risking Mew to see him doing that. I admit the “You are mine” was too much, and I don’t know where it came from (maybe the drugs). Overall, I think he’s starting to care about Sand in his own way as an addict. I’m guessing Ray’s problem is that Sand refuses to admit he has feelings for him. I never thought he cared that much about these things.
I feel sorry for him because he knows that Mew is just using him, and they are not a real couple and never will be. Like all of us, he knows that they will get back together. Maybe he’s just going along with the whole let’s try thing. Tbh, I’m still confused about the whole RayMew situation.
I don’t understand how Ray never bears the consequences of his actions - drunk driving and using drugs. When will he hit rock bottom? When will I see him suffer?
Tbh, I’m proud that Boston can feel something other than horniness. But I find it unrealistic that he’ll sit at a bar and look at a picture of his fwb. I’m not upset with him about the thing with Atom (an adult). Ton is famous. Atom’ll sleep with Ton and then go cry to his big sister? Why does that sound familiar? I’m all for the mess.

Let’s guess who is going to call the police 🧐 . I am betting on Boston.

I agree. But with where things are going, we’ll be disappointed either way. If only they could show less of MewTop.

@stayfantasizing @idontwanttothanks Either they have zero ambition for making something different, or there will be season 2. I don’t think they’ll fit Sand’s ex and father, Ray’s suffering and potentially rehab, Mew’s happy ending, and whatever Boston’s about to do in just 5 episodes.

I doubt it’ll be forgotten and forgiven. The whole “rescue” will be a wake-up call to Mew about his relationship with Ray. But I’m pretty sure he’ll refuse to answer because it’s coming from Top, and he’s stubborn.

I think there is a difference. Sand wants to “fix” Ray because he doesn't want Ray to die (drunk driving or from drinking). Nick wants to “fix” Boston because he wants him only to himself.

@JohnGotti At first, I was against Mew taking Top back (I thought it would be cliche), but if Top genuinely wants to change for Mew, there’s nothing wrong with that. I believe in second chances.

I don’t think he’ll take the blame. Maybe Sand’ll try to help him, but it’ll be pointless. I’m 95% sure he agreed to take care of Ray, but he refused the money Ray’s dad offered him.
About Mew - I was hoping that after the breakup, he’ll keep some of his logical thinking. The whole problem with Top was that he slept with Boston, who is way more experienced than Mew, and that hurt Mew’s ego. I am convinced that his relationship with Ray will be unsatisfying, but if that helps them in a way and they succeed in protecting their friendship, so be it.

I agree with you about Mew doubting his judgment about people, but I think he perfectly understands Ray’s problems - the depression, the lack of self-love, and the destructive behavior. Maybe he wants someone loyal so desperately that he’s willing to be delusional for a while. For sure, no one will be happy about this whole thing in the end.

I don’t think he needs to go out with Ray to start behaving like him. The thing which pisses me off is that everyone knows, including Ray and Mew, that Mew will wake up soon. There is no doubt that Ray is selfish and acts like everyone is to blame because he’s stuck in the past. Everybody should love and take care of him despite his hateful behavior. Grow up, dude.
I’m sure Sand is about to cook up something again, but like I said in a previous comment, I don’t think it’s calling the police. I’m desperate for him to pull himself together and show Ray that Sand isn’t his doormat.

I really hope so. After the last episode, I'm so pissed at Ray that I can't wait to see him suffer. But for some reason, I don't think Sand is the one who is going to call the police. Though I'm sure there'll be drama because of that plea.

Yea 😅 At first, I thought that Ray’s attachment was cute, but now I see how toxic it is. I believe he cares for them in his own way, but with his self-sabotaging and actively refusing to admit he has a problem, he keeps hurting them. I guess the writers want him to hit rock bottom before he realizes his problem.

I am upset because, for drama's sake, they showed us that Ray and Mew aren't really friends, let alone best friends. I thought that despite Ray’s obsession, he cared for Mew a lot more than we were seeing, but now he’s just taking advantage. And Mew, while trying to numb the sting (like you said), is potentially risking Ray’s mental health, although he was encouraging him to love himself. But at least we have SandNick’s friendship.
