Hmmm. For a low budget short length drama.. Its good really. The story revolved around the fox demon and his reincarnation of his past lover. Some researchers said that foxes are better in sensing danger than wolves. I personally kinda knew as well that boqiu knew the girl wanted to kill him but he played along with her like he wanted to be killed by her and ignored that just because he wanted to spend all his time left with her.. I said "time left" like based on the story, he was a fox demon who chose to take human form whereas he knew it will soon turn him into ashes if he didnt consume the blood of his lover, thats why.. My interpretation is.. He ate people, drank the blood just to sustain him untill the day he met his beloved again...but the blood of his lover will surely give him a bizarre impacts, either becomes so powerful, none could oppose him or wont be scared of being turned to ashes. Yet he wont do it to that girl.. Somehow he tries to cherish the time he spent with her even the useless ones.. He didnt care about human stuff(that's what happened in some part of the town, famine and poverty,altho I doubt it was his doing tho..). He just wanted to be with her. The question is... Again... What happened with his past lover.. Hopefully it will be shown later. And for eps where he stabbed himself.. I wonder where he got the knife? He said he didnt need a knife to kill yet after punching his chest once to stop himself, the second after he got the knife. I just thought about a knife on the floor somewhere and the camera didnt focus enough to let the viewers saw how boqiu took the knife with his power. If that's the case then we could imagine it went like that. Dang i wrote so much because i really love how zuo ye carried this character. It suits him so well, the stare, the expression, the longing tortured concealed on his eyes. Just hope in the future he would be in a bigger project so he would be known more and more. Played as an intimidating jealousy lil bro... successfully annoyed the viewers,reminds me of a vampire diaries series from cw back then when Damon annoyed Stefan to the max,Stefan had to stop him multiple time but couldn't kill him. Not to mention sowannee?.. how did she become naga king? I mean the procedure to be one? I just don't get it this one tho. Complicated brother relationships. Tortured love.. what anantachai wanted to accomplished is only to lift the curse...and clear up the past before he reincarnate into human later. I could see two endings but surprise us okay.
I feel sad already... whenever I saw the struggled concealed through wicked eyes of the demon fox... The only thing I want to ask...why did he paint/ draw the same thing like everytime the camera was on it.
Even it's xianxia.. they usually have references.really. I did engulf with some xianxia dramas.they do put Chinese myths there.i love learning through it as well. Usually,even it's fiction, Chinese dramas used mythology creatures based on real myth stories. But this one... I couldn't find..(the reasons I enguled myself into Chinese dramas I picked I love learning these myths from chinese's) Nine tailed one that I know of , of course the most famous one, the nine tailed fox. And maybe it's bai hu? The divine beast - tiger that might have similarities with the patterned showed tho.. But I never know bai hu had 9 tails.. probably embellishments myth might occured. However, I'm intrigued with the story line as well.

Im annoyed so much with both and most to the FL who kept questioning what the ML did that made the ML couldnt say the truth in details and kept everything to himself.. Not to compared tho.. The best relationship love and hate and needed to kill each other at the end was in the drama called till the end of the moon.like trust needs time yes... But at the end.. The FL knows without being told and later the ML told her in details. Did you know i kept cursing to FL here that why are you so slow? Why didnt you ask in details? As if i also cursed some to ML for being so lack in telling the truth and also stupid to carry it all to himself.
I just wish that we got to have another season for li xiangyi, a prequel story before he became li lianhua. In details, not fragments and the causes. How he built his sect... we may not see fengduobing because he was a child but at least we got to meet afei and how he also built his sect and became second strongest... Or maybe we got to know another best friend of li xiangyi that never been told or even mentioned due his death or something ( not shangudao tho)... And also li xiangyi lovelife. Its a good idea right? I have been imagining this but i dunno how to preserve it onto storyline... It could be so broad you know
