just a thought about Wu Tong's final moments with Ling Long.. . i think he did not let go of Ling Long not because he wanted to die with her, but Ling Long as a human, would be sucked into the hole (gosh i don't know how to translate). However, him as a half-demon now, he's able to still hold on outside the hole. He only let go of Ling Long after seeing Xuan Ji come, because he knows that she'll be saved by Xuan Ji. . .

it's based on popular internet novels, and many have enjoyed it. I don't really see how it relates to life being stressful and all. . . If all dramas are just full of happiness, there isn't much joy and differences among them already. If this drama toned down on the sad moments, I doubt many would have continued watching. . .

the drama spends most of the budget on the visual effects, and didn't even spend much to hire those A-list actors... where would they have the money to pay people to promote this drama and make it seem popular? ridiculous claims made by people who just views things with coloured lens.
