I wrote a long comment with a remark about Dosan and not HJP. You are the one who starts about the letters because? I don't understand your point. I was talking about why I disliked NDN and it has nothing to do with a shipwar or letters but everything to do with his behaviour. In the end the letters meant the same comfort for HJP as it meant in the beginning voor SDM and even if they did not end together the letters were his.

NDS up to episode 5 was this cute innocent dork, but after that he got greedy en became a real jerk. I couldn't symphatize with him anymore. he smashed a nameplate and hit someone who helped them all along. You call that harmless? In real life you would face legal consequences and maybe go to jail for assault? He left a girl drunk after following her when she cleary said she wanted space. He refused to give back the letters to HJP at first? So its not about someone with a mediocre or lesser personality but its about his actions. He even said he would propose as a bet if the would win like seriously? Then he said to his father who raised him lets not be eachothers pride, but to say to a girl he just met he wants to be her pride. He goes to the states and doesn't contact his parents for three years. He drops his mom on the sidewalks because he wants to go to DM and to top everything off he keeps crying like a baby when things don't go his way!!!
Thats why people dislike him as a character and again everone has the right to their own opinion.

Again the character sucked and I had said a few times already. The Dodal endgame was unhealthy because their base was based on lies and insecureties. In real life this would called a toxic relationship. It was empty and shallow and NJH even said it himself that he felt that NDM was rude to HJP. Please don't force your prefence or ship on other people. It's okay that people dislike NDM and if the writer wanted to see a different reaction than she should have written a better character of growth.

well NDM sucked as a character with no real growth. Why can't people bash him? Its just a fictional character.

don't forget to say the writer made it seem like HJP had to beg NDS to invest in the business of SDM and admit that he was wrong.

I started watching Start-up because i had seen previous dramas of Suzy and Nam joo-hyuk but ended falling in love with KSH. I lived through his pain and suffering evertime he got his heart broken. This drama left a sour taste in my mouth and i'm glad its over.

Well i want to comment on your view. If the writer was going for the scenario you just wrote down. She could have ended the love triangle a lot sooner like the moment NDS went to the states. I mean those 3 years away were supposed to show his growth witch i don't see to be honest (claiming the letters and others behaviour). SDM could have rejected HJP and the could have been friends/family and he could have moved on in those three years. The writer was dragging this triangle for no reason. its not just about shipping of HJP and SDM but the relation between her and NDS was pretty toxic. He smashes a nameplate and she kisses him. Like really? She tells him she needs space and he follows her. She tells him drunk she liked him in suit. He leaves her in de park to go wear a suit. SST fucks up and don't consult HJP but HJP gets attacked. The writing sucks and the overal message is lacking.

i was in shock and was cringing and I haven't watch the full episode yet and i don't know if I want to. I just watch for HJP or else i would have dropped it a longtime ago. I am shocked about this mess!

Its like the writing is still keeping up with the love triangle on one hand but forcing dodal on everone as the endgame! I am so frustrated with this drama and its inconsistency!!

yes, because if she studied real life people you don't go from being an introvert like NDM and after a while start externalising like he does. People who are introvert tend to crawl even further back when they are hit with failure or like the brother of Yongsan maybe get suicidal thought because you don't think you are worth it. This drama is very inaccurate in portraying reality.

I have a question maybe someone can answer. How did someone go from introvert geek tot angry and agressive guy? Is NDS supposed to convey this angry lingering feeling. When he appaers on screen he always seems ready to kill someone with his eyes. It look likes its gotten even worse after three years?
