Mostly if they continue stuff like the cannibalism thing or the stuff at the start of ep 3, didn't see much of the zombie-creatures so I can't tell with that, the fox stuff doesn't bother me.
I stopped watching after the 3rd episode because it was too scary for me, lol. Does it mellow out at all in the later episodes or does it stay like this/or get more horror-ish the whole time?

Totally, I understand that! I'm definitely not saying they shouldn't have shown any white Americans being racist, it's important to show that given the time period and situation. I had just wished they had shown a few that weren't or something IMO because it made it look like ALL the white Americans were racist when I'm sure there were still some soldiers that weren't (even if it wasn't a lot), if that makes sense.
Good movie, not necessarily my cup of tea at parts (not a fan of the sudden violence/blood lol but it's a war movie so it comes with the genre. Not fond of how pretty much every white American was depicted as racist either?) but good. In general the acting was great and the music was great.
Quick warning though to those who need it since I haven't really seen it mentioned, if you're uncomfortable with racism or racist slurs, there's a lot in this film. It's part of the story, and apart of the time period it's set in but but just be warned that it's very present.
