I shared this with someone on x so pasting my thoughts here:I used to think why most other actors who are less…
I think it’s because First Frost shares the same universe as Hidden Love. I’ve been watching First Frost, but it feels very slow, and the plot hasn’t progressed much. It also seems repetitive and not interesting. So, that might be why its viewership is declining it simply doesn’t have a strong script to keep the audience engaged.
LTTN is entirely different, packed with suspense, thriller, and investigation elements. If the script truly captivates the audience, it has the potential to be a major hit. Let’s hope the writing lives up to expectations. With a crew from the film industry and DD’s strong project selection, there’s plenty of reason to be optimistic.
If the script delivers, this drama could achieve incredible results. DD has a massive fanbase both domestically and internationally, and after GOTD, he also gained a lot of male viewers who are eagerly waiting for LTTN. The fan support is already strong, but we need LTTN to be a massive success not just for DD, but to mark Youku’s grand comeback and elevate both the drama and DD’s reputation to the next level.
My poor DD!He's being treated so badly by his agency. They don’t care about him at all they’re just focused…
I'm not sure when his contract expires, but I saw that DD has full control over choosing his scripts, and his agency can’t force him into projects. He built his own resources purely through talent. However, if he holds shares in the company, I worry he might not leave that useless agency.
DD is incredibly strong and even more skilled in business, so no one really knows what will happen when his contract ends. Interestingly, LBFAD's director has also joined his agency, which makes me think DD is planning to gain more power within the company rather than leaving it.

I think Youku should focus on quality over quantity, rather than just reducing the number of episodes. If the content is great, it will naturally earn a higher reputation, just like iQIYI did after LBFAD. LBFAD suppressed 100M views per episode with its fairy tale theme, becoming the first in that genre to achieve such a milestone. Before LBFAD, iQIYI was similar to Youku, but after its success, their reputation skyrocketed. However, after such massive success, iQIYI developed an inflated ego and began undermining the actors and directors who helped them achieve that success. Over time, almost all of their dramas are falling. As far as I remember, their high-budget dramas are still flopping. They continue to try to replicate LBFAD's success with the same style, but poor iQIYI just can’t catch a break.
So, Youku should learn from this and focus on quality with exceptional scripts. They already cover every genre; they just need to cut back on quantity and focus on perfecting the quality of every genre.

As I think, it will not receive much backlash and hate like GOTD, but it will definitely be dragged down by other actors/actresses fans and haters trying to stop DD and the drama from succeeding. It is also short drama so, it needed solid scripts from beginning to end. The crew is from the film industry, so I have hope that they will do it well, making it like a movie series.
My poor DD!He's being treated so badly by his agency. They don’t care about him at all they’re just focused…
His agency is always useless. I had also seen that heartbreaking black hotsearchs which had broken my heart. No one came to support DD, only his fans stood by him, but sadly, it wasn't enough.
I think they’re purposely building suspense by not revealing anything about Season 2, which makes me believe there are some thrilling internal developments happening behind the scenes. When they finally drop the bombshell, it’s going to be massive.
Someone mentioned, "Xu Qian'an was sealed by the Fengmo nail, and he traveled the world to absorb dragon energy and remove the nail. It was incredibly thrilling!"
Someone mentioned, "Xu Qian'an was sealed by the Fengmo nail, and he traveled the world to absorb dragon energy and remove the nail. It was incredibly intense!" If Season 2 happens, it’s bound to be even more captivating!
The director and screenwriter should focus on capturing the most compelling moments and intensifying the emotional depth even more than the final episode of Season 1, rather than adding unnecessary scenes just to highlight the actors or actresses.

I honestly want Youku to make a comeback with "Light to the Night", which would make Dylan even more recognized through a suspense-thriller drama while also strengthening Youku’s reputation. This is his first drama with this platform, so we need it to be a great success. If it succeeds, DD will truly dominate all four platforms. DD has already left the struggling iQIYI behind, as they treated him poorly. So, we need major high-quality projects from three platforms Tencent, Youku, and Mango.

Absolutely correct Dylan has always aimed to break the barriers of his acting skills, constantly pushing himself to explore new themes and genres, which allows him to seize countless opportunities to improve. Meanwhile, others tend to repeat the same types of dramas year after year, using the same facial expressions with same acting style, focusing solely on the CP and hyping it during the drama's airing. After one drama finishes, they quickly shift their focus to hyping another CP to capture attention, even resorting to negative rumors about their previous leads, with fans campaigning in response. They're stuck in this repetitive cycle, using the same tactics to make their CPs and dramas popular. Without the CP gimmick and fair competition, they are nothing compared to DD, who consistently delivers exceptional work and sets the bar so high that they can’t even come close to 10% of Dylan's talent and acting skill.
DD schedule is so packed. He has been traveling non stop. His agency treats him like a robot but he needs some…
My poor DD! He's being treated so badly by his agency. They don’t care about him at all they’re just focused on how to make money off of him. As a result, his schedule is non-stop, with no time for rest. I saw somewhere that he might also have a share in his company. Is that true?

Absolutely, DD has faced a lot of negativity from toxic fans and also others CP fans who target him for no reason. Many unfollowed him after he mentioned certain things in interviews and songs, and they continue to spread hate, hoping to diminish the loyalty of DD's fans. However, DD's popularity has grown even more after the broadcast of GOTD, attracting even more male fans. He keeps breaking barriers with his acting skills, showcasing every aspect of his characters, which will likely earn him even more supporters. It’s frustrating to see DD constantly targeted by these toxic and CP fans, especially when some actors/actresses keep playing the same roles with the same facial expressions in every drama, yet still claim to be better than DD.
As they mentioned yesterday and seeing their excitement, especially DD’s it's safe to say they will announce it after DD completes his upcoming project. Alternatively, to make it even more special, they might reveal it on a significant occasion. I also believe they recognized DD's potential from the very beginning, which is why they might have locked the script for more than two seasons. With the reputation, popularity, and high earnings of Season 1, they are even more confident in this project. Now, all we have to do is wait.
