Can someone enlight me please?Who is Jun's father?? i cant wait till second season. My assumptions are Batsu-san…
I can kind of understand what you mean, however, Batsu's son is dead and Jun's father is dead, so they aren't tied biologically. Jun's mother was what confused me however you'll realize it was Batsu's first wife.

unfortunately as the show reaches its end you can see that Jun's father really dies, so it''s not Batsu-san. But Jun after leaving Hokkaido, still thinks that Batsu is his father.
Having watched the drama first I couldn't finish this one, only Narimaya Hiroki seemed to play his role well, the other actors aren't as relatable/intriguing as the ones portraying the same characters in the drama in my opinion.
Really? I am so happy that the show has finally completed. Lights acting was often too much over the top.The last…
Regarding Light being more "down to earth" I have to agree, but you have to admit after 10 years of the original releases, the new drama's creativity was definitely intact and it got quite intense.
I guess out of every death note release, be it the live action movies, the anime, the manga and this drama, there's always something I like a lot and something I happen to hate but I can't hate any of them, since they all had potential and originality. Light in this drama got more ambitious than the previous ones though, as can be seen in the last episode, however I quite agree with your overall statement.

What!? I know it's a matter of opinion but the last 3 episodes were intense and Kubota played the Light role perfectly! Actually it was the beginning that got a bit boring.,,
I've been meaning to start this drama for a long time, now I'm sad I've finished it already.... such a masterpiece I will definitely rewatch this for many years to come. Excellent plot, relatable characters and unpredictable situations at times.
