I just started ep 12, and he's already annoying...I mean bruh..wtf first of all I don't know how this asswipe knew that Ming Xian is a girl when he's young...and this young boy, I understand he admires her but you know how immaturish it is when he talks as if we wants to marry her, he literally complaining that their marriage is a show...I mean bruh..you wanna help her then help, he's making it seem like because he wants to help her, he should be important to her...
just take off this annoying af character, poorly written, idk why they are giving importance to this, its better to show the physician and the princess plot rather than this...

No he doesn't know before, but he'll begin to get suspicious after few events, but yeah he never knows, but in novel thing are different, he's not bothered if she's ming xian (he only cares if she's any danger to him, and he doesn't untill she tells him) and he doesn't bother that she approached him for Golden millet dream, he gets upset because there is some sort of misunderstanding or actually FL is at fault there, because of her ML almost dies, she shares some his secrets to someone to protect her identity, and ML knows that she's the one who shared, that is when they break up
And as for your question, think of it in this way, if you watched ep 11, ML is smart he should know that they escaped the illusion realm how is it possible for them to get out at that point, ... ML might grow suspicion on her due to this, but it doesn't seem like that in the drama... but in novel ML is ULTRA SUPER cautious...he's smart ruthless and very smart again..so he knows that FL is not normal but he doesn't care much..as I said he doesn't care if she's someone with spiritual veins, in novel ML doesn't fight or meet with MIng Xian before..so yeah
So someone, please let me know, as I haven't watched Hou Ming Hao dramas before, so this is my first one of his dramas, so how famous is he in China, like the fanbase of him and compared to other top actors, on what level is he?? I am just curious

First of all, This is different from novel, in novel Situ Ling doesn't have this much importance to the actual plot, here its different, seems like they gave him some addition in story to him or something of that sort, so we gotta wait and see, (in novel he's no way related to main plot)
situ ling is going to be so obsessed with fl in later part of drama and become one of the villian I saw on weibo…
to be honest, he's just a kid, why would FL feel anything to him, I just feel this SML trying to obssess over FL is so bad plot, I mean, what's the point, you change the music, and make it slow mo whenever SML sees the FL, I feel its just not worth, I read the novel so he's just annoying af.. useless character no worth to story nor anything, just clinging like ....
to people who have read the novel, when and how will the ML know the FL's true identity?
In novel, things are alot different, but he gets to know that FL has spiritual veins and she can fight because of an incident, then FL says she wanted the antidote so she approached him, then something else bad happens to ML at that time, and situations and circumstances make ML think that FL is the one who caused all this, and this was all her plan from beginning, .. lyk they try to kill him(and all ML thinks, its part of her plan), but indeed FL is the one who helps that guy who tries to kill ML but she doesn't know he tries to kill ML, she only shares sells some info of ML as she have to protect her identity, but that person uses that as his weakness and tries to kill ML, so FL is the only person who knew that and possibly could, so then the thing starts like that
