I think, majorly the writers use this SML as a external factor, to push their relationship, like there should be some trigger right to get ML, FL be more open and realise their feelings, because they will be taking everything for granted as they were being living like that for quite a time now..that's some way directors use, ik know they have plenty of other ways to do 😅, but this is the Asian thing these guys do
