Do not watch this. I am so disappointed. With the story and the overall plot. The actors did good. Nothing could salvage this production however.

I started watching it but just on the premises of the first episodes I can tell it won't be a happy ending (which I don't mind). However the deal breaker was the princess getting married to that King. The thought of him even thinking to be with a girl old enough to be his daughter absolutely sickens me. It is highly disturbing that they would go for that route (even if around that time it probably happened a lot. But I still didn't want to see that). And to think she will get pregnant in the future is the last straw. I can't do it. So I will just stop here.

My gosh. I watched it. It's definitely one of the best drama in 2025 so far. I loved it so much and I plan to watch it again actually hehe

Yeah it really is a shame though. Why anyone would do that is beyond me.

This drama is a must watch. You will probably think there isn't much to it in the beginning but there are layers to this. Layers. It is well thought out and executed. Even there are some scenes some of the characters behavior or reaction is unexpected, all is explained later.

I enjoyed the reasoning, the questions lingered in the air waiting to be answered. The acting was captivating and the pacing felt just right. Everyone who had a hand in this drama (acting, prodution etc) deserves recognition.

It was Cantonese.

And yes it's an amazing drama with a well thought out plot from beginning to end.
