Ep 22-23 this drama has a good pace to move the drama along---I like seeing FL and ML meeting at the secret abandoned courtyard to share their friendship/intimate moments :). When they're together, they're like two goofballs joking around and just be silly together :).
Oh lol, that part where they thought CP is gay lol...I mean FL is so pretty for a fake male, so lol.
And when the King saw FL as XiaoDouZi, lol he was amazed by her beauty too!! It makes me think the King falls in love with XDZ too!! But, I have a feeling the King is thinking XDZ is a girl!!!!!???
Ep 52-53. Jin'Er tsk tsk tsk- Even after what she did, she still got touched by that nasty foreigner!!! I feel sorry for her!!! She is wicked and evil, like Empress Dow!!
Now Empress Dow has a stroke, I guess this is a good ending for her because of her karma. She was just so bad and selfish. Empress Dow actress is doing a great job portraying those heavy emotions; like crying and anger. Hopefully, the actress recovered well after playing this heavy character.
Zidan is out of the masolumn-He is just waiting for his turn!! lol
That flashback with XiaoXi looking back at his battle with his soldiers :(. SO sad knowing his best friend soldier died. I wonder what happen to Hu Yao?
Lol when Awu tries to run away at the end of Ep 53---The land is so vast when she looked out and seeing there's nowhere to go :(.
I must say Ziyi is portraying Awu so well--Elegant, kindness, and beautiful.
EP 51--Me as I'm hearing the emperor asking Wanru Empress to die with him, "Umm wthell!!!" What a selfish and greedy emperor!! I did read back in the days, some Kings ask their queen to be buried with them, but really smh...greedy stingy pos!!! The Empress Dow was all happy knowing Wanru was going to be buried lol!! She should be the one to be buried with her son. Wicked woman!!!
It's getting intense!! Best drama in 2021 so far!!! Excited for the next part!
Can we talk about the horses? Those horses are trained so well, they're not CGI right lol?
It was great to see the pair of horses lover to help each other, animals really know their instinct and can sense what is going on. I think this is the first C-drama where horses are seen being loyal towards their master :). XiaoXi's horses are so loyal to him~!
EP 50!!! It was so sad to see Hu Yao and the brother's scene :(. How painful!!! I love their siblings' relationship, that is an awesome big brother! It was sad to see how hurt XiaoXi felt because he didn't suspect that the enemies were attacked him, and when he and his soldiers fought to their death :(......that fighting battle scene was good :(.
Yuan Zong makes HeLan bad guy so likable and unlikable lol. Looking towards XiaoXI and HeLan showdown!!!
