It's odd how they compare this drama to NIF, YuXiang got nothing on ChangMeiSu. CMS is strong on his strategic moves, but YX kind of thinks as he gets to it lol
I don't like how ML is an alcoholic after FL left lol. I understand he is sad, but they make him drunk for two episodes. That doesn't fit his character.
And Mama Lingyuan is a force to reckon with, her presence onscreen is powerful and terrifying. The Nagong guy doesn't look like a threat to me lol, his looks are too laidback and carefree.
I don't see the Princess's purpose, except that she is following her uncle around. Maybe she might surprise us??

That video flashback was horrible to watch!! I despised violence, so that was a little hard to stomach. I guess it's a good thing they skip part 1 and 2 in the book, and is filming part 3 in the book. That would have been brutal to watch.
Done with ep 24!!! The pain in YX's eyes when he asked Yanan some questions, he clearly knows, but doesn't want to admit that she is from the Lingyuan sect :(!!!!! I realized that he questioned her so many times, or try to find out her real identity because of the flashback, but now he is certain who she really is; I hope there's at least a satisfying ending for them both.
TianHu and Mr. Sword are adorable, it's nice to see them helping the children.
Seeing Yanan nervous that YX is suspicious of her, she obviously cares and loves him. Why why why?? I didn't expect this drama to go this route, pining ML and FL against each other.
