I can’t figure out YL’s motives. Is it revenge because LY accused him of something before or something older/other?
YL has a revenge against ML because YL committed a crime, and ML investigated and YL got punished. YL was punished for 3 years, and so throughout the drama YL is trying to bring ML down, and make him lose his job.

yeah.....SJ was kind and sweet. It's funny to see him being the 3rd wheel, at the scene where he FL and ML went shopping. They have him holds all the boxes....He was so cute too.
It was good until EP 30. I got tired of the drama and filler plotlines lol. This is why cdrama needs to stay to up to 30 episodes. Too many episodes and it's just dragging.
EP 29, ML was just full of emotions and letting himself be vulnerable for his feelings for FL :(. I'm so sad that Song Jin, ML's right-hand man died saving ML. Why didn't he run together and close the door behind him? Why did he have to close it and then stay behind, getting stabbed and dying in such a tragic way :(.
FL will surely come back and rescue ML :)!!! YuanLang is so weak, and he sucks as an antagonist. I wonder who else wants ML dead? Maybe someone related to Duke that ML killed for revenge against his dad???
EP 27 was good and so sad. Filial piety is something that Chinese drama has always shown, and this episode clearly demonstrates that. It's sad that we don't know what we got until it is gone :(.
The Qiu family really bounce back, but they have lost so much :(.
QiuMin I thought she would redeem herself, but so far she has always been immature, jealous, and unreasonable. I don't feel sorry for her.
QiuYin beating that Wang ugly guy was good, I was afraid they were going to leave him out.
Good drama so far, but the villain LuanYang is weak, and this drama could have ended already lol.
Haha EP-21 QY and LY are really good at role-playing. LY's mother is funny too, wanting grandchildren so badly and soon; even locked their bedroom door lol. Back in the old days, grandparents really want grandchildren so they are curious lol.
QM sister I gave up on her, hopefully, she will live a good life with QinYuan.
