If i remember the book, it is true he doesnt have much screen time. But, he has solo time!!?. Also, the book is unfinished (as usual by author). So i hope they finish it in this. Also i hope they make it as close to book as possible. Explore woth note (2021) left me with bad memories for me.

I am not sure if you read the books. But this is not a reboot. This is based on the continution (sequel) book which happens after 10+ years (12-15 years) from original time line which happened in lost tomb by neo hou and UN. And Xie yuchen is just guest char in here. I think uou can see him in ep 17, and may be 18. Sorry, i saw it a long time ago i dont remember

The story was average, its like any other short love story. Putting aside story and all, the one thing i love is Jaemin acting. His eyes and expressions are beautiful. Did cool a job and delivered what needed

I liked the first adaption (ZRY And Li xian). And So far no adaption came close to the first one (zhang ruo yun's). Same goes for this. The female character is annoying. Lin tao is kind of dumb (i dont know). As for qin ming characters may be okay. And romantic touch, hell no. Due to long interaction between an ran and qin ming (both medical and normal), the suspese feel is missing.

I saw first time when it was released and i was happy with the series. Good visual effects and good actors. And story which I love, i followed all seasons of lost tomb. Though I felt that ZQL(Huang junjie) had little screen time also there are lot of loose ends and lot of love stories. But still okay. Then recently I got the book and read it. And watched the show. I have to say what is wrong with script writers of show. Book connected lot of dots of previous seasons, gave some answers of lot things. But show writers just ignored them all. And gave loose ends in the show and romantic stories instead. And what was almost nothing in the book became the biggest arc in the show (warehouse 11, and it dragged and got boring at point cause it keep appearing)

I watched these 2 reunion seasons twice. Before and after reading the book. And my opinion about the reunion turned 180 degrees after reading the book.
Why is it so hard to follow the book? Okay you can't follow the book completely but you can at least do better. Of course book has issues too but still.

Tan Jian Ci is really good in his character. His smile is pleasent and it helps the character very well. Like the show so far

This story happens after 5 years of ultimate notes. Not literal continuation of UN. You might need to wait for unltimate notes 2 (not announced yet).

Yeah, i think same about Wan yi and xiao yuliang. Oh well, cant help it and get used to new actor

Really!? Ah... i was looking forward to wan yi. Anyway, so far all the actors who played qilin did good job, so i hope same for the new one also

I hope too. But all actors who played wu xie and zhang qilin did good job. So i am looking forward to new actors also

And as for the actors, to me xiao yuliang as qilin is good. If it werent for the time change, i would have asked for neo hou or joseph, but a five years of time passed new actor will be added. I really want to see xiao yuloang as qilin one more time or more. But then again, new actors for characters is how lost tomb works, and i liked all them (may be except one because of bad writing) so looking forward for new too.

I have read the books and loved them. So I am also following the TV series. Even though every time cast changes, it was not bad but it was good since I get to know new actors.
But now with this new season what makes me worry is that this will be from tencent. So far the seasons which were under tencent felt like they are short on budget(some parts) and full of filler arc or unnecessary scenes. And script writing is bad for some (well at least for me)(especially explore with note 2021 was made me curse the script writers which i never do. Again this is my opinion). I hope they take care of this better cause this is about zhang qilin. Fingers cross.
