Keizoku's cases are all cold cases while SPEC one are all revolving around SPEC users and their crimes. You will miss some characters that appear and that are mentioned in SPEC but not a big deal, they are not relevant to the story.
PS. I liked Shibata more than Toma. She was way more fun.
My god this ending was long. Is this based on manga because it sure has that feel. It was kinda dragged out. But all in all, it was a nice series. Recommendation

Im sorry, i thought when you said SPEC you think special episode. I think show was good by 90's standards. last 4 episodes and special are continuing and they were rather good. It has Evangelion feel. Ill probably start watching today SPEC and ill let you know what i think tomorrow.

I know this was almost 3 years ago, but how did you watch SPEC before watching this? I mean, SPEC is sequel, you have no idea about events of the show.
I just finished watching it. Its not what i expected it to be, but it sure was great movie. Big recommendation. Only english subs are kinda bad. Translation is close enough so you can still follow it.
