gonna miss this show so much

i wanted to know what happend to jeonggook and han taeseok's wife (as much as i dislike that guy), they didn't give much closure on what happened after the cure was developed

park hyungsik did such a phenomanal job here (as did the rest of the cast, of course, but he really stole the show) loved every second of this drama although i feel like they could have had one more episode so that the ending didn't feel so rushed

kinda agree with you there - i feel like maybe they could have put the individual character stories before the scene where the 5 of them met to make it seem less rushed? since that scene will most likely get repeated quite a lot (since it was also shown again in san's ep)

actually really enjoyed the first 2eps! they were very comedic for the most part and i don't feel that they were extremely predictable. i've seen a lot of people saying they're sick of repeated tropes but repetition doesn't make a series bad, just give it a chance, the themes could be executed way better than previous series :)

ending was the best part imo, the rest of the movie had me so bored 😭

i honestly thought this was a decent way to wrap up the series. the scenes with jyz & yzt were cute and it was nice to see more of that side of jyz. i definitely expected a 'special episode' to be more focussed on jyz and shi lei (and i wish they had gotten more screentime) but given that series as a whole focussed more on jyz and his past i can't say i'm surprised or disappointed

you're definitely right about it not having a strong script which is unfortunate because many of the actors could have done better with a better script 🥲
i think you're right about puth but i also feel that kaeng gave him plenty of signs that it wasn't just a friends with benefits relationship to him - sure he didn't outright say that he liked puth but puth definitely should have seen the signs and yet he didn't confront it. that's totally an issue with the writing, tho

the only reason puthkaeng were slightly lower than monteam is because puth confuses me 😭

like kaeng was RIGHT THERE the whole time and puth just changes his mind about the other teacher dude last minute i-

i just thought they were really cute

the actor that plays kaeng is hot.. stayed for the eye candy and hot scenes more so than the story

the ending of ep4 lost it a bit for me

5) tir-masuk-jia 3.5
story had potential but the writing and pacing ruined it (also the way tir died was ridiculous..) stayed for talay because i am a simp

6) tue-ake 1.2
pacing was absolutely awful, actors didn't have much chemistry

7) sat-choke 1
had no idea what was going on half the time, random english irritated me, the actors had no chemistry whatsoever

the overall concept of this show was good and i did like that other couples appeared in episodes that weren't theirs because you could create a timeline. the sets and styling were amazing, however, i can't say the same for the writing and editing of the show :')

also to say the 7 of them are supposed to be close friends, it didn't seem like that in a lot of scenes. mon and thurs were the only ones that had chemistry as close friends whereas the others just felt like acquaintances most of the time. masuk was rarely present and the fact that sat, who seemed to be his closest friend in the group, knew nothing about tir just doesn't make sense..
