DAAAAAAAMN, this is a 10/10 drama, IT WAS FLAWLESS!!!
What a masterpiece, really. It joins Th First Frost and Moonlight Mystique as the best 2025 cdramas for me <3 I can't complain about a single thing, I loved EVERYTHING from beginning to end, all I can say is thank you to whoever made this masterpice possible and specially to Song Zuer and Liu Yuning because they gave their best and their characters were wonderful. I will remember The Prisoner of Beauty for a long long time.

Nothing better than a man who ACTUALLY APOLOGIZE after being an asshole and accepting he was wrong, I love Zhonling so much, he gets mad and acts a little crazy BUT he knows when to apologize to Manman. He is a lovely man indeed <3

OH MY GOOOOOOD! This drama is a masterpiece so far, I am obsessed with it <3 ep17 just had the BEST ACTION SEQUENCY I have ever seen in a historical Chinese drama in a LOOONG time, just WOW, it really made me speechless. Of course it had to be Liu Yuning, he always portrays WONDERFUL character <3 and precious Song Zuer is doing it FANTASTIC, I lover her in this character so much.

After watching the last episode, I think they just shouldn't be together. They are too toxic, selfish and liars, a relationship like that just can't work and honestly, after so much pain and betrayal, to end up with a "happily ever after" will be so meh.

You keep talking shit about the FL and praising ML as if he wasn't an asshole too. She was ABANDONED out of nowhere and the dude even faked he was cheating, but she is the evil one? I am glad this is a drama for you and not real life because you kinda live in a bubble.

She is a wonderful actress and I have liked all her characters so far except this one, ugh, and it is not Esther's fault, it is the character's personality that stresses me so much, it's even annoying.
