I agree with you... kind of. The first couple of episodes, till ep. 4, I though so myself but I don't think a plot like that would keep us watching for 16 hours. It would be great for a movie like Arihant D said or a shorter OCN drama and I certainly would watch it, but its the complexity of the characters here and the painful path he had to overcome to realize who he really is, a flower born in the darkness, that make us love it and keep us watching for 16 episodes or even more.

I think they made it really obvious because it's not gonna be him, they're many things on the air that need to be clear out (like the comment above mentioned) and it doesn't point to the psychiatrist... I'm still 95% sure it's him but I don't even know anymore.

I feel the same but in the detective role, I like her in the dead one.

I haven't being watching dramas for as long as some people have but I did went trought that journey of notdropping/dropping very fast; my first year I was eating everything that went near my eyes, I loved every romcom possible and dropping or even putting on hold was not in my mind. Then I got tired and if the drama didn't catch me in the first two episodes "ciao, bye, adiós bebé" it felt wrong so I stop watching for a while. Now, since a couple years ago I got to really know WHAT do I like and WHEN do I like it and that save my experience and now I enjoy almost every drama that I watch. At the end of the day everything in our lives is about knowing oneself and living acording to that...

Scene 3 is soooo creepy! please don't think that a man taking no for an answer and grabbing your wrist in real life is romantic. Don't look for a Kim Tan...

From the bottom of my heart I tell you do not watch this! if you do, try to drop it by episode ten. Just go watch the The Guest, it's this but good.

This is a good watch if you have absolutely no expectation, it's not dark even if its premise could indicate something alike, insted is a simple, straigh forward, funny, with some may say a lot of bums on the way to the finale, entretening story. If you wanna watch a top ace drama that you will remember for life, then this is not for you.
Also... this is the perfect drama for a drinking game, with the many times the world psychopath is misused you will be drunk by episode 5.

I read your comment before watching and thanks to it I started the 'psychopath drinking game' which is just a shot everytime they said psychopath... needless to say that I ran off of vodka by episode 8, but you made my watching more enjoyable so I thank you.

It's great to watch. It's mainly about one case but to get there they solve other things. If you like comedy and action then it's definitely for you, best 20 episodes ever.

I'm here to let go of the frustration the last couple of episodes put me through, so if anyone read this I'm sorry... I loved the first part of this drama but since they put more focus and stablished a more serious relationship (even if they trying to portray it as transference somehow) between the main characters, everything went downhill. IT'S SO FRUSTRATING!!!! I kept yelling no! no! no! to the screen as I watched it.
She needs help and she's not getting anything, she hasn't acepted the fact that she is a patient which is really bad for her health, the last episode shows that; she stopping the relationship is a good step but she is convinced that everything can go back to normal when it can't, and it's everything because nobody has told her that she is actually sick, that what she has has a name and that she needs treatment. I'M SO MAD AT JI DOCTOR because she knows and all she says is "stop doing that, stop being suspicious, angry and annoying. no one is gonna love ya like that" WELL SHE CAN'T STOP JUST BECAUSE YOU TELL HER THAT.
There's no doctor's ethics is this, that's for sure.

Well... i don't know if there is something quite like this but Save me* has the same dark theme, if you are very sensitive (like me) it's a living hell because of everything that happens, but it has a great costruction of characters and the problems it touches are really well done. ALSOOOO BAD GUYS*! the first one, and everything OCN has to offer; I would also recommend the movie The villainess*, even though its not the same type of story the direction has some similarities, like the aproch to the thriller theme and the camara angles it uses (like the last episode).
Go watch Gap Dong* if you want a drama about a terrifying serial killer, but fair warning the plot at times can feel a bit long and too much, for me at the end is worth it just because of Lee Joon.
Others options can be Hello monster*, it's pretty easy to watch and entreteining, Voice* and again everything OCN has done.

P.S. Signal*, it's not like this, but it's great!

I don't know why but I never saw it like that (in a romantic-twisty way) but its was more of an statement on the search for his other half, someone whom he can finally be one with... for me, it gave the character a weird depth that made me fell so hard for him. But on the other hand I would ship Lee Dong Wook with anyone...

If you usually like OCN stuff or thriller then WATCH IT! please, I'm begging you WATCH IT! it's the most perfect thing you'll find out there, there's not a single bad thing done in this drama so pleaaaaase... watch it. (Also Lee Dong Wook looks sexy killing people)

I find this drama to be so nice and cute, Jung So Min is a great actress and Shin Ha Kyun smile melts my soul every single time. I CAN'T HANDLE ALL THIS BEAUTY! but... till now I don't feel good with the romantic vibes this is giving, not because of the main cast (that have a good chemistry), but because the that means she is getting worst and that her feelings are founded on something that may not be real... and for me that makes me worry more than to feel nice about the whole romance.

Every single time I return to watch kdramas because I havent done it in a while (a bump), I come back to this. This's how good it is... It's so silly that you have to love it.
