There people go again with their stereotypes of what a relationship is supposed to look like. Let them be and…
Once again. I feel as if you're putting your emotions, specifically your anger into your responses before actually thinking about it. Never did I say what gay relationships should look like. You're acting like a typical gen z child dude.
what is so mature about tolerating and defending cheating, what kind of dumbass stance is that?
Nice ad hominem. No one is "defending" cheating. It's so easy from our view because of our implicit biases to have a simple idea of cheating. But the mindset that we need to have is that its the VICTIM's decision as we have no idea how they personally feel on this as they are the one's impacted in this. If the victim doesn't want to be with the person then fine but if they put thought into it and are WILLING to give that same person a second chance and forgive them, then I don't see anything wrong with them. Sometimes yall are so close-minded that you don't even try to see things from a different perspective.
Yall in this comment section are so close-minded it's kind of sad. Yes, cheating is bad. But some of yall really show that you want nothing but a typical BL with rainbows and butterflies with a sprinkle of struggling. The first season was these two figuring out their lives in their final years of being teenagers. Now this second season is a demonstration of many things that happen in adulthood. No matter how you want to sway it around cheating still happens. While cheating is horrible and it shouldn't be excused , at the end of the day it's up to the victim. Some people don't tolerate it whatsoever but some people are more forgiving then others and are willing to give it a second chance. Regardless the victim's decisions should be respected. Your opinions don't disregard reality. And no the cheating in the series wasn't "romanticized". I swear y'all hear a new term and then run with it. If this is the reason why some of you guys don't want to watch this season or continue it, then fine it's your opinion at the end of the day but its still kind of childish in some type of way.
Welp tbh while cheating is bad, these things happen in life many times, and others tend to be more forgiving and give the other person one more chance.
You’re so damn close minded it’s kinda sad. And the fact that you’re 25 is what’s even more embarrassing. You literally sound like a typical gen z liberal
Seriously...if people actually think cheating on someone is realistic then we are in hell...at this point it will…
Not being realistic means it doesn't happen like this in real life. But it does. The word you're looking for was that it wasn't morally right whatsoever.
It's because it's extremely realistic dude lol. Not every thing can be rainbows and butterflies.
I swear I have a feeling some of yall are 10 year olds on this website. You do know just because something is realistic that doesnt mean its morally right. lol While cheating is flat out wrong, it all comes down to the victim being cheated on in the end. As long they aren't peer pressured into getting back with the person but feel that they can give the person one last chance after giving it lots of thought then that's their decision just like its their decision to end the relationship.
Seriously...if people actually think cheating on someone is realistic then we are in hell...at this point it will…
I don't want to come off as rude but some of ya'll seriously need to grow up. Cheating is realistic and before you come at me, just because something is realistic doesn't make it morally right. Its the aspect of how things happen in life and how people go on cheating on others. What's going to be even more realistic is how they decide to handle things afterwards by either 1. breaking up 2. Talking it out and apologizing or 3. Both. Not every BL can be butterflies and rainbows. So this episode wasn't "terrible" in reality (but you're still entitled to your opinions), but rather extremely realistic to how people go on with making the horrible mistake of cheating.
There people go again with their stereotypes of what a relationship is supposed to look like. Let them be and…
And you're entirely entitled to it. But I feel like you're letting your emotions cloud your own judgement. Try to be more open minded and learn to put your emotions aside for sec. But once again, you're perfectly entitled to your opinion.
So far I'm loving this series. Why? Because out of all the BL's I watched, from dramatic to realistic, this is THE most realistic BL I have bestowed upon. I think it's SO real that how people will react this will be confused with how they feel. This BL shows how much life can change in an instant, especially in a relationship!
I LOVE the main couple. BUT, I feel as if these two are drifting away from each other. IN the most realistic way possible. Oh-aew decided to choose what he was really interested in, dyed his hair and even matured emotionally; all signs of character development. Teh on the other hand realizing that others change and that he has to adapt and accept those changes while acknowledging how they feel rather than looking at it from just his perspective.
In both the first and second season, there's character development but both of them are different. One's rapping up being a teenager and discovering themselves and the other is adapting to adulthood.
Unpopular Opinion: This is making me come to a conclusion where I'm actually perfectly fine if the main characters don't end up together. In fact it'll mark a new type of perspective in BL's. As long as the characters resolve their differences in a civil and healthy way WHILE staying the best of friends im fine with them both realizing that Teh and Jai are a better matchup and that Oh-aew can definitely find better options for himself.
Jai (handsome btw) is not a saint but definitely not a horrible person either, what I'm worried about is that the plot will make him worse than he actually is all just so they can get those two back together. And if that happens, it wouldn't be much of progress and just setting these two back to square one. But I guess at the same time, we haven't seen enough of him to see who he really is.
What I preach for others watching the series is...be open-minded. Life is not what we think it is. Relationships like this happen all the damn time. So try not to make any quick assumptions about the characters just based off on the mistakes they make, because that would be your implicit bias showing where you critique every single damn mistake they make without realizing that you're no where near perfect yourself. What Im trying to say is, have the mindset that...this is life, these are people, and people are imperfect and make plenty of mistakes, and those mistakes are what cause human growth.
Okay I'm a tad bit late to this but here's my take: (FYI I'm going to try my best to see both sides)
People refer this BL series as the "straightest" couple. While some say this is wrong, the reason why people say this is especially because watching the series was the equivalent of watching two straight men play and flirt with each other. No, a BL doesn't need kissing scenes or sex scenes in order to be good. Look at I Told Sunset About You and how much fame it got for it's first season! No sex scenes and no kiss scenes. 2gether always left lots of people feeling as if there was something that lacked. In my opinion, as a gay man, this was really un relatable (bc as I said it was like watching two straight men play around), and I couldn't feel that connection. To be honest, I really don't know how this out of all the BLs GMMTV has made, got famous.
Now about the actors. Bright and Win are just wonderful people. They might not be as close as Max and Tul or Mew and Gulf or PP and Billkin, but they're really nice actors. They've grown as people, especially Bright. Yea maybe his acting was little plain at first but people do really forget about human growth. Do people also not realize how open minded Bright is? The man willingly did DRAG. Not only that but he even went ahead and said that if he happened bestowed upon a guy that was attractive he's willing to date him. Both also go ahead and learn different languages like English and Filipino just to connect with their international fans, and that's just so amazing.
Now can we also stop saying "No one forced you to watch it..." or "If you don't like it simply go on..."? Like...people are free to express their opinions on here just as you are, regardless if you view it as toxic or hateful. If you are happy with the series then that's your opinion!! But people have the right to critique the show or even show how they were unhappy with it!

Bruh. The reason why they mention "straight" is because the whole time it literally feels we're watching two straight men just have their story and little fun moments together. It felt more like a bromance rather than a relationship. It's their opinion
I really don’t understand why people call WatTine “straight couple”. Like cmon, the lack of sex scenes and…
There were no kissing or sex scenes in I Told Sunset About You but yet everyone loved it. They say "straight" vibes because it always felt like there was something missing. All up to a point where it really just felt like to plain straight men just playing around w/ each other and at MOST queer baiting. So try to be more open minded.
The comment section has become so toxic. If some of y’all didn’t like 2gether/Still 2gether then why are y’all…
While you do have a point, I'm so sick of this "Don't like it? Move on..." No dude, the comments might be a tad bit toxic but people have the right to comment and share their opinion just as much as you do.
